It was interesting to listen to Morgans post match interview. Pulled no punches, opportunity lost, no prizes for second, no positives from the game the guys didn't perform.

We must have crossed paths yesterday Wingy ?! I was with the wife. We drank at an old famous pub in Westminster across the road from Downing St for a while before having one in the Richmond clubhouse behind the stand. There was a stack of Cov in the bar and at the match, great noisy support, we thought there may have been as many as 150/200 Cov ? Tell you what pal, it was bloody freezing in that stand. Thought our boys fought hard yesterday against a big looking Richmond side and if it wasn't for a couple of handling errors and a couple of missed kicks we would have won again. Great rearguard at the end deserved to keep them out but just couldn't quite manage it. Could not believe their guy missed the conversion ?! Went to a pub afterwards called the Orange Tree and then back into Central London for dinner and a bottle of vino. Good day out all told and reinforced again what a decent little ground and superb support we have at the BPA at this level !

Disappointing not to win with us being 5 points up with 90 seconds to go but thankful of a share of the spoils after Richmond’s late try 5 minutes after the normal 40 and a relatively simple conversion missed.
That last 5 minutes of pressure from Richmond was self-inflicted after we had the put in at the scrum just inside our 22. All that was required was for fly half Matt Jones to find touch near the half way line. He hurried it almost trying to kick the ball before he had it in his hands consequently spilling it forward giving Richmond the put in from the ensuing scrum.
The support for Cov was magnificent and doubled Richmond’s normal gate. It was bloody well freezing though with that bitterly cold wind and it took me 30 minutes post match in the Triple Crown to get the circulation back in my fingers. Had a great chat with a couple of Richmond old boys in the pub and they put me onto a far quicker route back to Euston. I used the London overground changing a Willesden Junction, much quicker than using the tube or South West Trains via Vauxhall Bridge or Waterloo, one to remember for future. Roll on next Saturday.
Ah but Norman, we may have took a little longer but the tube seem to be full of the most delightful looking young ladies on their way out for the evening. We sat next to 'Liam' from Benidorm and a couple of his friends on our way back to 'Monument'. We then had a nice bit of dinner in this place:

A's in last week BHSB I got it wrong again as Ealing didn't get the bonus point
running out winners with a fairly tight score of 24-19 against Esher who we have away next week,tough one
Yesterdays game was a bit scrappy but a superb hatrick from Dan Rundle one of which was the obligatory kick over top to himself with the after burners on,truelly spellbinding he's sure to attract others attention in this form
Anyway, 2 points behind Ealing with us on 93. Rosslyn Park 2 behind us
