So you don't have any proof that players won't come to us in case we go bust? Have I missed something where ccfc players haven't been paid? Is that an estimated fact?
Being an ex player, I've known players who wouldn't touch teams in our predicament with the proverbial barge pole mate! This is coming from players that would sooner pick up wages and play in the reserves and play in the first team now and again.........................Have you asked your buddy about his estimated facts of Waggott saying 8th highest wage in the league or(This ones got me nearly pissing myself laughing) his mate who works for CCFC and has seen with his own eyes wage payments to players...We must accept that as FACT eh? lmfao. Or can't you do that coz he has the same opinions as you?

@ Nick.. I'll ask you again, have you not pulled your buddy up on his 8th highest wage bill quote by Waggott?(Do you really believe that?)....Have you not pulled your buddy up about his mate who works for CCFC that says he has seen the wages paid to players with his own eyes? where's his proof??? I'm telling about players that I've known and played alongside that have refused to join teams in our predicament.I've also been told by a man who would never lie to me about such things. He used to play for Accrington Stanley and Burnley and I would never disbelieve the things he told me He was my late Grandfather. He told me about the bad times of Accrington being liquidated whilst he still played for them.

You have no proof people have refused to join us in case we go bust.

One rule for one isn't it?

In a worse case scenario of the club collapsing after the window shuts would the PFA cover wages until the end of the season?
This is taken from the Portsmouth v Ben Haim case............ Theoretically players are due payment in full on their past contracts under the football creditors’ rule. Under this rule Kanu is understood to have submitted a claim for £3 million, though the club are believed to insist they owe him only £300,000; Kanu's lawyer, Samuel Okoronkwo, did not return calls on Wednesday. However, payments to players can only be made if the club are sold as a going concern – if they are liquidated they will receive pennies. Bryan Jackson, the joint administrator, said: “If the remaining high-cost players do not compromise on their wages or agree to move then we won’t be able to complete the sale of the club and it will close down.” ......Hope this helps

Yes I believe that our wage bill is in the top 8 and that we have a bigger budget than swindon.

And the person in question, said he has seen the FL sheets and our wage bill is bigger than swindon's. Just look at our squad - jackson, pugh, johnson, tudguy, Nouble, JOB all played championship clubs last season, JOb and swanson turned down deals at their clubs to join us. Are you saying that swindon will be paying individuals more than we're paying them? That's been one of our problems this season, Pressley went for too many 'names'.

Apparently the Trust have seen the proof, could ask them then?

I would say that the fact we apparently have the eighth highest budget in the league is more worrying than if we didn't given the position we're in. Although that position is improving I'm yet to be convinced that this squad were ever capable of being a top eight team.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't SW say we had one of the sixth highest budgets in the league? If I was him I'd have kept that quiet, it doesn't exactly show his abilities in a good light.
