I expect SISU will be aware that they have pissed off loads of season ticket holders this year with the dross they have served them. I expect the next couple of months will look like this.....

- Sepalla statement released to fans thanking them for their support in difficult times (basically a rehash of the one she puts out every year)
- Mowbray will be given assurances and will sign a two year deal
- Waggot will talk about our top 8 budget alongside a top manager and state that a promotion push is the season's objective
- Loads of fans will buy season tickets & be monumentally let down again

What we need to not happen is on that very last point.

The owners and the board have to back the manager this year. If not, more fans will be lost and we will just keep on becoming a smaller and smaller club.

You forgot to add that after long and protracted discussions, TM decides to join Hinckley Town where he sees massive potential and on Aug 31st, Maddison joins Chelsea for £100,000 with 3 Chelsea under 18's coming here on a 3 month loan.

Absolutely Otis now is the time for Sisu to stop the culling of our club and start giving hope to our fans before its too too late. I have all but given up but with TM coming theres still a few cinders left, lets hope they get ignited

I would never have renewed under the previous manager but TM has made me think about it and I may even take the risk and ask my wife if I can!

I think this is last chance saloon for SISU and their bullshit. Either start to put things right or you may as well only open one stand next season. I know of at least 12 current ST holders who won't renew unless certain conditions are met this summer.

I agree, but it's happened every year since I can remember. We get a ST and then loads of players are sold off and we moan!

Without wishing to be argumentative - honestly - I think the best thing that could happen for the club now would be for Fisher to leave. Irrespective of your view of recent events, he's pretty much disliked by fans on all sides of the debate. He can't be doing that good a job that SISU can't find a better candidate.

I think if he went, and someone stepped into his shoes with a bit more candour, and TM can be persuaded to stay on a longer contract; the season ticket sales - especially if better marketing prevailed - would pick up significantly over the summer.

Now, of all times, a fresh start is needed; and Fisher's departure would be a grand way of achieving that

It hasn't always been as soul destroying as the last few years. Yes players were sold but we also acquired some decent incoming guys that gave you some hope. I don't expect the club to break the bank either but they have to genuinely invest and be astute this time around as people have had enough.

I'm looking in to getting a season ticket next time round, haven't had one for years, generally due to work commitments and living in Norfolk. Quick question regarding season tickets, if Mowbray signs a new deal and we get a decent looking team together and I do decide to get one, how much am I looking for a season ticket somewhere half way up block 22 ? Also what's my best bet with regards to bringing friends ? I'd like to keep a couple of seats next to me free as I'd probably bring somebody different with me each week, is there any other way to make sure I'm not sat next to another season ticket holder or will I have to get a second season ticket to guarantee the space ?

thanks folks

Cost you about £295 I suppose. I wouldn't worry too much about trying to reserve seats in a 32000 stadium, if you want to sit with friends occasionally just sit with them where there are gaps once you have entered the arena.

Do you have to pay a hefty amount for a kids ticket ? I've got a 5 year old daughter I would occasionally bring, I could potentially get her a season ticket guaranteeing the space next to me is free, then if a mate comes he can get a ticket anywhere and have that seat ?

as you say though, I probably shouldn't worry too much about it lol

If you make her a JSB member, her season ticket will only cost about less than £90 i believe? Anyone who can shed light on that more please do.

As Nick keeps telling everyone. Sign her up as a JSB. £25 a year (I think) and she'll get in for free with a paying adult (I think).

You were going so well until the last point - when you say "loads of fans" you mean the usual less than 5000

Keeping Mowbray will be a sign of intent, as he is no mug.

If they manage to do this then things might finally look up.

I agree. Fresh start. Get rid of Fisher, employ Mowbray, let him have a new backroom staff. Get rid of the dross.

£20 JSB fee and a free season ticket if you get one too. As for where you sit, I have moved to different blocks with no problem

My position is for reasons away from football I don't get a season ticket, sometimes I don't know until the day of the game whether I can go or not, but a number of family and friends who have had season tickets for years apart from last season when not one of them went to Sixfields. All of them that's son who travels down from Lancashire, 2 grandsons, son- in-law, his 2 brothers, daughters partner, his brothers, plus a few mates, not one will be committing to a season ticket until the decision on Tony Mowbray is announced one way or the other , not this time, we had the false promise of jam tomorrow and substantial funds from the Clarke/Christie/Wilson transfers would be handed to the manager for team building not being caught with that one again. Appoint TM and tickets will be bought, simple as.

Has to be the way to go. The club is - in broad terms - probably now breaking even. The next phase, putting everything behind us, is how we as a club produce the revenues needed to take the next step. Be that a new stadium, better deals with Wasps, etc. Fisher has managed to make enemies everywhere he's gone; and is the face-of-SISU for many stay-away fans. A new face and modus operandi will help wherever our next plans are, and soften the attitude of some fans. If Mowbray can recruit wisely over the summer, there's no reason a feel-good factor can't return. And that'll shift tickets.

The feeling when the first pre-season games start, with new players - wondering if they'll gel or not - often played on sunny days; is so exciting. You don't want that sullied by the distraction of Fisher saying something bananas. We have to now look forward, and every time Fisher opens his mouth, I can't help be reminded about all the old crap.

New brush please, SISU

I find it odd that at one point it seemed we had a new director or CEO every other week. SISU must realise that Fisher is pretty toxic so I'm surprised they haven't got rid of him before now. That one simple step would help build bridges and drive ST sales on its own.

Fisher and Waggott equally are big problems here and have been for a while, a lot of talk often about "our owners" but in reality it is F&W are who run the club and make many of the big decisions, pre Sixfields Joy Sepalla admitted didn't even know we existed and only got personally involved once the shit hit the fan re. Sixfields. We desperately needs a change at the day to day running of the club Fisher has stated on radio he leaves the day to day stuff entirely in Steve Waggott's hands while his sole remit is a new ground, (don't laugh).the whole football club is a complete mess.

The problem is, changing the public face doesn't solve the fundamental problems (see Richardson -> McGinnity -> Robinson) so while it might have a quick bit of feel-good, it'd all be an illusion and not really move us on long term.

Only a multi millionaire could remove the problems altogether. We have to start somewhere and the removal of Waggot and Fisher has to come first !

Agreed but it is time for a bit of pragmatism. It might mean having to accept some compromises including working with Wasps.

When do you think the first early bird tickets will become available ?

Pricing isn't being released until we are safe. Potentially that could be this week so if they have it ready to go it could be up as quickly as the day after the match. Would have thought after the prices are announced its just a matter of plugging that info into the ticket selling system so shouldn't take too long to put them on sale.

They could get rid of Fisher or Waggott as I can't see both going and the one that is left will be busier and would hopefully keep there nose well out of the things they don't understand ie the playing side.

The only way to decide is pistols at dawn on the pitch before the Crewe game and that would help the ticket sales as well.

I think the difference - at least from my view - is that we are now 'breaking even'. We didn't quite manage that under any of the above regimes. So, the time is right for a new person to step into the helm. How we arrived at 'breaking even', and what our options now are being well documented; but we're there.

So, I think the time is ideal for a new, more strategic planner and visionary to take us forward. That's just not Fisher. Nothing in his arsenal I've witnessed over recent years persuades me he is. And let's be honest, expectation is now so low amongst CCFC fans, someone who purely had the ability to tell the truth would get many folk onside.

I think Richardson said last week that they hadn't had discussions with people from CCFC. The football club should be all over them. Piggy-backing on Wasps' evidently better PR/marketing, exploring avenues for revenues, etc. The club just doesn't seem to have a plan it's aggressively sticking to. Or a vision. There has to be a better person than Fisher to head-up 'what's next'

I've had a season ticket for years and its always a been no brainer renewing for me, no matter how shit its been. However, before I renew this summer I need to see some ambition by the board, we need to keep TM on and back the guy, make or break time SISU
