Forcing Baker out of the club was madness.He was easily the man of the match when Milton Keynes came here.How many goals would he have scored for us and how many assists would he have provided if he had been allowed to stay? I doubt we would still be in trouble.
The sale of the stadium to Wasps immediately killed any hope that we had and I think has considerably added to the fall in attendances and the drift of fans away from the club.
However, the fact we are still in trouble can also be attributed to 5 minutes of madness (ineptitude) during the home game with Crawley when we let a two goal lead slip in a game we were easily winning against really poor opponents. Although this result could still bite us on the bum, I think we have enough to escape under our own steam.

I can't remember the exact circumstances behind the comments but I'm guessing he was led into it by a question from the interviewer, like if the Ricoh deal would be extended/possibility of ownership down the line.
If he had came out and said they had moved back to the Ricoh with an eye on ownership then no doubt he would be a liar and building up false hope for fans as he knew at the time there was no chance.

While I'm not going to disagree either, it didn't help and is only one quote of numerous quotes from TF that I can only assume have been quite deliberately said and have caused ill feeling amongst fans and in many cases has helped (if that's the right word) them to make the decision to stay away.

Their fucking bully boy tactics were there for all to see from day one of their tenure....Share holders that were forced to GIVE UP their shares to SISU will testify that. The council were going to approve anyone willing to rent, or buy ACL/Higgs shares....Incidently, ACL/Higgs shares were for sale from day 1. Did they? I was under the impression they inherited a deal that had been agreed to under the previous owners. From what I have been told Ranson / SISUs plan was the only one that didn't require ownership of the Ricoh and that is why it was preferred by CCC. Ranson's plan was quickly getting promotion to the PL and then cash out. Obviously that didn't work and it wasn't really until Fisher took over that rent and revenues were (correctly) flagged up as an issue.

that doesn't make much sense does it? Why would you need a cooperation agreement if their was an existing contract in place? Implies either the rental agreement was ripped up and a new one entered into by SISU or that it relates to a different contract. Care to provide us with further details SBK?
of course that doesn't detract from the fact that Ransons primary objective was the PL which would have seen huge ROI for him and SISU.

Like I've already said, Nobody forced SISU to takeover the reigns at CCFC...They signed contracts to pay rent...Or are you calling Judge Hickinbottam a liar?...To take on an existing contract, wouldn't there need to be terms and conditions, and SIGNATURES? Which according to Judge Hickinbottam, SISU most definately did. Now instead of asking me to show you more details hows about you show us all your details of your hearsay? A co-operation agreement isn't the same thing as signing a contract. I don't see any evidence to suggest there has been any change to the rental deal that was in place prior to SISU's arrival, haven't seen anything in the accounts to suggest the rent had been lowered. In fact PWKH was very keen on here to keep telling us at no point since the initial agreement, prior to SISU's ownership, had any formal request to alter the agreement been made by the clubs owners.
The fact remains there was, at least, three serious bidders, the other two both abandoned their bids after being told by the council there was no opportunity to own the Ricoh in similar fashion to the deal offered to Wasps. SISU did not have that as a requirement of their bid so were the preferred option of CCC.

Whilst I agree Baker should never have been let go I think his goal return and assists had he stayed would have been a lot less. You have to remember with MK he is playing with better players who create chances by the bucketload. For me the moment which could prove to be decisive was Sheffield Utd away, I don't care you you are playing or where you are playing, you simply cannot give away a 2 goal lead with 10 minutes to go against 10 men. Said it at the time that those 2 dropped points will cost us

I seem to remember baker being slated by numerous people, i think the guy was misused.. he has talent and energy unfortunately some clown gave him the captains role and possibly played him in the wrong position.. i think he would have been better suited to a peter beardsley type position because despite his frustrating style he could be exciting at times

So they did.. turns out you didn't bother to check the date of said 'quote' as it was July 11th.... before the season even started and well before an official return to Ricoh was announced.
After the announcement though - the word used was own - not build.
Unless of course you are going to try and find some more spurious information to make your point.

Maybe some of us believed that while the council were constantly telling us what a disgrace it was that CCFC had been ripped from the community and were playing in Northampton they wouldn't franchise in a team from London!
The reality is CCFC should have been the only show in town. This was not the stadium being sold to some investment group or similar, its pretty much unprecedented with the exception of Wimbledon's move to MK which was so popular the FA and FL had to declare they would never allow it to happen again!

If he has not said that they were going to build a stadium why do they show us pictures and have meetings about the stadium that they are going to build and why have they supposedly been in contact with councils on land to build one if he has only said that THEY need to own one and not build one? :thinking about: It is getting a bit silly on here at times.
Our biggest problems were having a squad of players too small and not strong enough for the division we play in. The players don't have enough pace. And we had a useless manager. Or even getting rid of players and replacing them with players not as good.
