Get some decent PR and marketing to get them sold!

The theme should be "change" and "upwards" to get people excited!

Exactly.

Sign Mowbray, release new kits.

Do a deal to get discount on the new shirt when getting a season ticket.

If they don't sign TM and give him his £2.5 million , ST's will slump so badly whatever the price. It's do or die for the hedge fund over the next 4 weeks !

Needs to be massive push with season tickets this pre season. We should be averaging 13k-15k even if we aren't doing great.

No we shouldn't, not after years and years of shit. You get what you deserve, if SISU let Mowbray go back to the North East and try and fob people off with the likes of Hockaday and a paltry budget they will have made the correct decision in closing the North Stand because it will be like a ghost town up there. It's up to the owners, no one else now !

The club has the potential to, with a few positive and proactive decisions, start to rebuild supporter confidence. This thread is yet more proof of that; there's some powerful yet totally simple ideas in here.

I'm not sure they can see them, though, based on past experience.

Gonna be an interesting off-season

Either we're a big club as many think and we have a strong fan base, or we're a small club with an average fan base.

You can't average 7k and keep claiming to have massvie potential.

After the season we have had they will do well to keep the crowd numbers the same as this year. People want a bit more than a last day escape and a few promises which disappear by October.

Mowbray will probably only sign a contract if his demands for team investment are met and I doubt they will be. Even if they are, he is currently out of contract and I have a feeling that a bigger club will come calling before long. It may be too much for him to resist, especially if it's oop north.

If they were for the BPA
Now you're talking

Well that's another choice.
I have had enough of paying good money to watch utter dire football cant even feel good today, did we deserve to stay up with the shit we played all season.

We need to see TM through the door along with the return of the likes of Samuel, Ward and Pennington or similar quality coming in.

until people can see a desire by SISU to build a team to challenge in this division and beyond will you see the season ticket flourish.

Thinking about where we have got to, my conclusion is that the lost fans won't come back until we see some real sustained improvement. Since we were relegated in 2001 we have been in a steady decline, yet each season we hope that the decline has "bottomed out". It never has, we have been a bit (or a lot) worse just about every season.

It will take at least a serious challenge for promotion from this awful division to tempt many of the lost fans back. A season ticket is a commitment most will not make until they are sure there is something worth watching on a regular basis.

You wouldn't need any PR other than telling Fisher to keep his gob shut.

Thing is though, look at teams that end up at wembley and struggle to sell out their allocation, so in comparison to them, we are a big club.

Compared to the likes of Sheff utd and even Pompey who get 15K per week, then technically, no we aren't a big club.

But the clubs that attract 15K per week have had success recently....

Already on sale. £249 in the earlybird, can't really complain about that price. Under £11 a match.
