....for another club to swoop and nick him!! TM has said he wants the job, the fans say they want him to get the job, he had the job! So why the delay remember Waggott, is ceo, responsible soley for the running of the football side of things. As said TM had the job, for 2 months charged with keeping us in this division, he done that. Surely in that 2 months SW knew and was aware of Mowbrays demands, salary expectation and wanting his own men in as backroom staff, all new managers want that it goes with the terrotary. WE were told there were 2 budgets one for division one and one for division 2, can understand that. So really what we were looking at was a few T's to be crossed and I's to be dotted which should have been done last week in London. So i ask again why the delay, Waggott hasn't the balls to come out with "we couldn't agree" so i ask is he waiting and hoping for another club to swoop and nick him, i do. Last nights result at Swindon has me concerned, Sheffield United's failure to get through i believe puts Nigel Clough's position there in grave danger and with Mowbray hanging about and Sheffield being a 120 miles nearer to his home in Middlesbrough, a better budget too i am thinking could this be Waggott's manna from heaven, i'm afraid i do.
Now while i'm at it where are our local media ? They should be all over Steve Waggott like a rash, everyday, football journalists, i've shit 'em.

Meeting today to nail the contracts down of the staff he wants to bring in.... Don't forget they also more than likely need to work on the severance package of McFarland and hopefully Hockaday.

Or say thanks but no thanks. Hockaday to be installed as the new manager.

Yes, it has to be Hockaday just like when SP left. Hockaday was nailed on for the job ;)

I don't think Hockaday will be due any severance as his contract like most of the players was until the end of the season.

if they did announce Hockaday as manager they could knock the 0 off the end of the amount of season tickets sold.

For me Tony is heading down to Ryton today to sign his contract, do a press conference and make us lot slightly happier going in to next season.

Let's see what happens

I'm very confident that he'll be in charge next season. Fair play to the club if that's the case!

Hopefully it is because both sides are drawing things up properly for a change. I think Joy is the delay. Waggott said we have to have Mowbray, Mowbray said he wants the job and introduced his back room staff. And charts. I think Joy said show me what you need to achieve, go away do the figures and come back........hence the delay (hopeful)
