Andy Lonergan would be a great signing for us. I used to work with his brother, not that that has any relevance what-so-ever :D but if we signed him i could tell everyone," i used to work with his brother ya know!"

I'd take Beckford, great striker at this level but would assume he is Preston bound or else another Champ club might take a punt on him.

I went to the same school as Sean Dyche - he's a great manager :thinking about:

Find a Leicester or Reading fan who speak highly of him, and whilst you're at it, go and ask Bolton fans why he was dropped for so long this season.

Your logic to throw Wilson into this conversation considering he's highly regarded here, it's just daft.

I'll regurgitate this one last time, Matt Mills... is shit.

Would rather have Andy Webster at the back.

You think Matt Mills is shit, fair enough. But using the fact he was sold for a combined 6-7 million as evidence to back up your opinion is stupid beyond belief as the Wilson example shown.

When Sven paid £5mill for him, the whole football world said wtf? Which was proven right 28 games later.. he was a shocking signing considering the amount they paid. And when Reading gambled on him, it was too late, Mills attitude took over his game. Then onto Bolton he goes, and Bolton suffer down at the bottom half of the championship for 2 seasons.

I think he was sold for those amounts because he had good potential when he was at Doncaster, but since then.. he's lead a path of many other greedy footballers.

I'll say it again he captained Reading to a Play-Off final, hence why Sven paid a reasonable fee for what was a CB at the top of his game. Yes the whole Leicester/Sven experiment didn't go to plan, but that was as a whole squad, not solely down to Mills. You can't blame Bolton's unsuccessful period on Mills.

You may think he's overrated and not a Championship player (which is wrong), however he is by no means of League 2 level.

Fine, I suppose I'm preventing the normal flow of things on SBT. Please carry on talking utter shite.

You and Beduff have been doing just that as per usual.

Arguing over a over rated defender released that will never come here. Beggers belief.

Hes better than webster though.

Woah now. That last sentence is bordering on debate, not what we do on a forum apparently.

It past the time away, work later. That's life. And it's just a difference of opinion, you'll find that forums usually have them.
