With this being built at Arena Park Shopping Center, is it signs that we'll be at The Ricoh beyond this seasons deal?

That place is bloody tiny. You wouldnt fit half of the merchandise we had at Gallagher in there. What a ridiculous decision. If they were going to choose a unit at Arena Shopping Park, they should have chosen the Phones 4 U. Its a lot bigger

Well you have to admit its a bit daft. If you see the size of that place, you'll understand. They might have some more space at the back of the unit but i think its a silly decision

Was the Phones 4 U unit any bigger? And is it still available? It might of been leased before SISU inquired.

As you say, might be a lot bigger. Dry cleaning does not require large front of shop area.

The bigger the better of course, but at least it's a shop close to the ground.

My one concern though is, if there is a big game with a large demand for tickets, where is everyone going to queue?

It's ideal as its by the door.
Grendel is normally at the first desk in the library next door doing his research.

The size of the shop is not that important, stock can be fed in from a far cheaper storage space. And it's better to have a small fully stocked shop than a barn with hardly anything in it.

Would much rather have a smaller store near the ground that looks like its full of stock that some half empty mega store miles away.

It might not be that small, think about it, the retail space in a dry cleaners is small because of the space needed to fit the machines. Some of that will be regained now it's a general retail unit.

The club shop, now it's being managed by a proper distributor, will probably only carry stock on display and order in subject to demand.

No matter what they do there is a knee jerk angry reaction on here.

Can't we at least wait until it is open before we make a decision and start moaning.

Stop moaning how many league 1 clubs have a club shop outside the ground anyway (thats away from any stands just not attached to ground). Lets just get on with it and put up with what we have it, aint getting better any time soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cleaners old shop is 53 Sq.M which is pretty small. No reason it can't work though if they have minimum stock on display and boxes of it stored behind.. It's a start.

At least it won't look like only a quarter stocked like it has been.

Any idea how big the Gallagher or the one at the Ricoh was for comparison?

The location is better and a smaller shop will look more full and also may be cheaper to staff.

Lets all get in and buy loads and then we can have some new players don't forget ffp;)

If it's the cleaners shop it's about twice the size of a normal house lounge of about 12ft x 24ft.
