In a promotion chasing team goals are the main objective, to be sure. And with those goals they should come from more than one or two sources. I think I read that for a team to score 90 goals it should be 60% from forwards, 30% from midfield and 10% from the back.
With Johnson signing I think the 10% from the back is secured, but do the others add up with the players we have?

One thing to remember is under mowbray we will be aiming to control games this season.

We have never had a dominating team in my lifetime really so this is a big mentality and tactical chabge for us.

Even if we don't get top 6 in more games than ever before we are gonna win alot of them comfortably. We will score more goals because of this so even players who don't have a great record will score a few more than normal imo.

With a top striker upfront we cud make a 15 goal man into a 20 goal player perhaps.
