Charged twice for season tickets to be delivered...... (10 Viewers)

I recently purchased 2 season tickets online and in doing so opted to pay a total of £1.50 for delivery, which has been taken from my account.

Yesterday the post office put a card through my front door stating "Unfortunately we can't deliver your item because there is a fee to pay"
In addition it states "the sender did not pay the full postage, including £1 handling fee"

Suspecting it was the season tickets I decided that I'd rather collect them and then argue the toss later - if I refuse payment on what may (or may not) be the tickets then they go back which mean's I've wasted the £1.50 I paid in the first place.

I had to pay £3.29 extra. I have paid a total of £4.79 in total for two tickets. What I pay upon purchase is what I pay, I don't expect another 50p, £50 or £500 .

Anyone got an email address of the person to whom I write ? Many thanks.

Thanks for that. On the plus side they got the seats right.

I'd call Jack Regan. This is clearly a case for The Flying Squad.

Crimes against an Internet forum with some dickhead using any excuse to bleat about the club

Actually, we were the other way round. We paid the £1.50 and still hadn't had them delivered, rang them today and they said they were waiting for collection. They apologised and sent them out. Wish I'd started a thread about it now.

Has the stamp fallen off or something? Tweet the club, sure they will give you a credit for a few pence.

Its not about the money though is it. I'm starting to wish that I'd not renewed my ticket now. God knows what shenanigans they'll get up to when I go to pick mine up.
£1.79 it really is a crime against humanity.

They have sent it out standard signed for delivery service which costs £3.29. In other words the 1.50 I paid towards delivery hasn't even been used towards delivery at all. Can I afford to pay £3.29? Yes . Should I ? No. Sheer incompetence yet again.

It costs more for an event with ticket master.

You seem a real twat to me.

If you book to see a concert what's the booking fee?

Absolutely nowt to do with it. They give me a price, I decide whether I pay the fee or not. They send me the tickets but then they dock me another £3 for postage they didn't pay for, but it's okay because it's ticketmaster . Is that your logic. ...and you call me a twat.

Have you asked the club about it before going off on one?

Haven't gone off on one Nick. Just responding to the ticketmaster analogy.

I found the details in 3 clicks from the ccfc homepage and in less than 30 seconds. The 'sheer incompetence' is not limited to the ticket office it would seem. However you were, remarkably, able to successfully make a thread to complain about £3.29 and not find said details yourself.

Someone has made a mistake, FFS. Contact the club, I'm sure they'll sort it. I had an issue the other week and they went out their way to sort it.

If they sent it out standard signed for where has the extra charge from the post office come from?
