Can only (realistically) get jumped by Chesterfield and Rochdale today, a point would take them above us.

Need Walsall and Gillingham to lose, a win tomorrow would put us back near the top again if results go our way.

Heard a few people saying Robins is under pressure at Scunthorpe. Losing at home to Blackpool can't help. Wonder who they play next...

Yes win tomorrow we go 2nd...imagine if JOB put that penalty away could be 2 points clear with a win tomorrow and a few easy fixtures on paper coming up.

It's too simplistic to point at incidents like that costing 3 points, as had it been scored it would have changed the whole pattern of play of the game.

Whatever happens in the other games, if we don't start winning we will experience the inevitable slide down the table. And once you slide down, it's much more difficult to scramble back up. I'd rather the other clubs be looking at our results than us depending on theirs. PS. You cannot keep missing penalties and expect any success in the league.

Agreed. Best thing to do is forget the incident and make up for it next game.

Like Lameires' penalty miss vs Rochdale, went and scored vs Millwall.

It's easy to say about missed penalties, if burge didn't save against millwall it would of been a different game and outcome

Can I just add to this well thought out argument/ debate, I fucking hate when we don't play Saturday's.
i know that has no relevance to this thread but I'm sat here with my can of Stella watching fucking Jamie Vardy playing football for England, how depressing is that.
if we had played today and won or drawn the game I wouldn't be as suicidal as I am watching this load of horseshit wearing the famous three lions shirt.
I'm physically fucked and oldish,(covcity4life I am not a pensioner I'm 52) ,and I run like I've shit myself, but even I could do better than Jamie bloody Vardy
has there been a worse player pull on an England shirt, apart from Glen "the carthorse" Johnson who I absolutely loathe.

Mate, I like your thinking. They (vardy and Johnson) two of the worst ever to play for England so please drink some more as you will need it. Just add Trevor Sinclair to that list please.

As for the game tomorrow 3 points back to the 1-0's. Job done

I have to agree that fucking Jamie vardy is about as useful as a woodpecker with rubber lips. I'd sooner put cyanide in my own coco pops than agree with that turd going to the euros.
