What a striker Adam Armstrong is. I said last week all he needed was the service. He got that service from Fortune on Saturday and proved exactly what he can do when given the chance. But with Newcastle seriously struggling in the Premier League, the question has to be raised about his future. His parent club have a 24 hour release clause in his contract which can be utilized at any time. So for this week's Cooks Question, i want you to be impartial. Forget that you're a Coventry City fan. As a neutral, would you recall Armstrong. Can he cut it in the big league? In my opinion, i think it's too soon. League 1 is completely different from the Premier League. A different tempo, a different calibre of defender to beat. Yes, he's performed in League 1, but i think he should be allowed to stay in League 1 for the rest of the season. If Newcastle go down, he should be given his chance next season, much like Andy Carroll was given a shot last time they were relegated. If not, they should loan him to a mid table Championship side.
