You really are a sad little man. I say man but anyone who has trouble admitting that they're wrong that they even try to discredit what the people who were actually involved said on record at the time is hardly a man at all. You really are a first class prat.

I will admit I'm wrong if you provide evidence. Your evidence consists of a statement by someone on ACL. Tim Fisher says we are building a new stadium. It's documented so it's happening

As for the insults - keep going. You admit you only exist on here as a troll.

It's car crash comedy.

To be fair, you come onto a football forum not to talk about forum. There are plenty on here who love a fishing trip, but at least they bother about the football too.

No chance, yesterday he is on record as saying he was meeting Wasps to talk, today he has gone. Something radical has happened.

You are almost certainly correct, but as usual supporters are kept in the dark.

I think the immediate most regrettable consequence is that we now have (only) one director and he, in my opinion, has never demonstrated the necessary capability.

So do you agree with Grendull that someone who was actually involved in us returning to the Ricoh lied on record just to big SW up? Perhaps Grendull was there and knows it was lies.

Still you ignore his wumming BS and have a go at me.

I've spoken plenty about football since I've been a member but when the site has been allowed to be taken over by a numpty like grendull and his bunch of merry men into a forum to moan about made up conspiracy theories and how everyone is to blame for our position but SISU the "custodians of our club" while turning every thread into a Wasps hate in I struggle to take the site serious anymore as a football fans forum.

Hell, you constantly moan about the CT talking about Wasps asking why they have to report on Wasps at all yet you've opened a Wasps sub forum on your CCFC forum. An irony that's truly lost on you. Try looking at how long that sub forum was open before I commented on it. And I only started because I got pissed of with the usual suspects turning football threads into Wasps threads so I went on the Wasps sub forum to turn every thread into a SISU thread. Then it just became to much fun winding up the posters who cream themselves with elaborate conspiracy theories and bitter minds.

When I can start taking this site as a serious football site again I'll start posting about the football again.

How do you know he had anything to do with the return let alone be s pivotal player?

Waggott revealed he had gone 48 hours without sleep as the warring Ricoh Arena operators ACL and Coventry City finally agreed a deal which ended the club’s stint playing ‘home’ games at Sixfields in Northampton.
His intervention was undoubtedly a key turning point as Robinson acknowledged a change in the personnel leading the negotiations played a part in agreeing a deal to return.
At the time, Robinson said: “A fresh perspective can only help. The negotiations were conducted in great spirit between Steve Waggott and I.”

Yes, Steve Waggot gone with immediate effect.

Strange one as he did seem to be getting on with the supporters.

Something must happening !!!!!!

I'll do the paranoia then. When John Clarke quit we promptly bogged off to Northampton!

The article is 100% true and if you can read and engage brain at the same time confirms Waggott had no influence whatsoever - two stooges playing out a game with their strings firmly directed from above.

Dave down the dog & sausage told me wasps are about to take us over
I said they would make a bid for ccfc within 4yrs from the moment they took over the Ricoh - it is just a matter of having a successful product. Both Rugby & football now producing 10-12k weekly in-season with the prospect of rising to 15-20k according to success on the pitch.

Bit of a no brainer IMO considering they get to keep ALL of the pie money too!

Of course another angle could be that Northampton Town are liquidated...Sickfields is suddenly a realistic option to own their own ground without having to build one.

"Mystery surrounds the position of one of the men responsible for Coventry City FC’s return to the Ricoh Arena.

Chris Robinson, chairman of Ricoh Arena operating firm ACL, has been asked to resign from his position, the Telegraph understands.

Mr Robinson took part in marathon negotiations with Sky Blues chief executive Steve Waggott in the summer as the pair worked to find a solution which allowed Coventry City to return to their Ricoh Arena home in September.
"

No mention of strings. You're so full of shit it's unbelievable. Oh let me guess, you've engaged your brain and you're "reading between the lines". In other words you're making it up as you go along to suit yourself because you're too small minded to admit when you've got something wrong.

Are you really a grown man?

SISU are so obsessed with the pie money I don't know why they didn't just put a bit in for Greggs instead.

So basically a few lines in a paper and you just accept its true. Ok then

A few lines in the article that you said was 100% true you mean?

And then to try prove a point (against yourself it seems) you use the Sunday Sport (frankly if you're going to compare the Sunday Sport to anything The Beano would have been a better choice) as an example of how a few lines in a paper must be lies (or is that 100% true? I doubt anyone is keeping up with you on this one). Ironically your "evidence" is an article in a paper.

You couldn't make this up. I can't wait for your next post. This shit is just getting funnier and funnier.

Not many would go from Coventry if Sixfields was owned by SISU and the team moved.
Many like myself would finish supporting CCFC.
Like me some locals would attend the new teams matches.

Life has choices.

I cant see Sixfields being on the radar. Sisu would have to put money in to acquire it and as the club is self supporting at the moment it would be financial suicide. I would presume that someone will rescue NTFC, even if they did completely fold the ground would probably become the property of their council in lieu of the 10 million debt that it is owed, and we all know how well our owners do at negotiating with councils don't we. Anyway didn't the FL say that we have to play within a certain distance of the City centre? Its all conjecture and rumour at the moment and that's all it will be as Waggot will have signed a non disclosure contract and unless their is a mole no one will know the truth.

If Waggot was the man doing the marathon negotiations to get us back into Coventry (even if he was only doing so under instruction from someone else) then best of luck to him elsewhere.

And if we're going for wild conspiracy theories I think we can't rule out Alien involvement.

Havent the FA given SISU until December to submit all plans for any new stadium being drawn on the back of a fag packet? Why would we go back to Northampton? It was plain to all that it was commercial suicide. I dont care much for this idea that TF is back in the limelight. The blokes a grade A knobhead and thats being kind. Herman Goering did less to bring the city to its knees than this c**t

From my perspective Waggott was just another one on the Sisu payroll who ultimately beat the Sisu drum.

He did, I suppose, become the acceptable face of Sisu in many fans’ eyes – or should that be the acceptable voice of Sisu. He had a more down to earth appeal than someone with Fishers privileged background.

Ultimately, however, his achievements are few and far between. His first big test was with deciding on Thorn’s fate when in the championship. He made the wrong choice and kept with the clueless individual. Then, even worse, after Thorns car crash management style he offers him a new deal, only to wake up a few weeks in and dismiss him, at a cost no doubt, that should have been avoided. No plan to replace him meant dithering and the crucial first season in League One was wrecked before it had even started. For this action alone, he should have lost his job.

The impression you get with Waggott is that he always wanted to be a manager and was far more comfortable operating with the likes of Thorn and Pressley than a Robins and certainly a Mowbray. He could sign hapless tripe like Malaga, Edjuingele, Brown all day long. He must have cost the club a fortune in cancelled contracts. He was an abject failure in the role he was supposed to be paid for.

His “credit” for the Ricoh deal also should be scrutinised. It is inconceivable that Sisu and the council were not already aware of the Wasps involvement. That deal meant the club no longer had to deal with the council and is the only reason the parties talked. It is also inconceivable that the arrangement was not going to have the approval of the incoming landlord. So Waggott was again the public face behind the deal. It should also be noted he was more than complicit with the move to Sixfields , and always publically played the company line. As he always did.

One suspect’s the appointment of Mowbray exposed his shortcoming and led to his demise. Mowbray, under a similar budget to his predecessor, changed the structure and built a winning team. His comments regarding the lack of structure when he arrived were particularly damning and telling.

Waggott was wasteful with his budget, poor at player recruitment and dire at understanding the infrastructure required to build a successful club.

He may have plaudits from those who fail to see the wood from the trees. He may to some be a football visionary – the saviour of English football. After all it says so in a press article;

http://www.express.co.uk/expressyourself/34577/Is-this-man-the-real-saviour-of-English-football

Others, including I suspect, the new manager may have come to a different conclusion.
