Both players were culpable for the second goal imo, majority Fleck and minority Cook.
You see when you see say quick release here, what exactly do you mean? Because what I seen for the second goal wasn't a quick release, it was unnecessary overplaying it at the back. I have no problem if the opposition have committed forward men to an attack and Cook spots an opportunity for a quick counter attack with a good roll or throw and I would encourage that but what I don't like is when Cook tries to play possession football between himself and the back 4, especially when Donny were pressing us which is what happened for the second goal.
Go look at it again, the ball was rolled back to Cook by Ricketts one man was closing Cook down and another was within mere yards of Fleck, it wasn't a 'quick release' setting the team up for an attacking opportunity, it was Cook trying to keep possession by playing a risky pass into Flecks feet. Fleck then fucks it up and its in the net.
