Look at it another way. Assume no one goes as if they do replacements become priority. But from the current squad what do we need to be a Leeds/Sheff/Burnley? Immediate answer I know is a parachute payments but for me we still concede far too many stupid goals. If you put a very good left back...
I think Dovin’s injury and Van Ewijk and Rudoni’s form changes our priorities. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m assuming we lose Wright, Van Ewijk and maybe Rudoni. So we’ll need to prioritise two RB’s. Well maybe get away with 1 LB but we’d need an attacking midfielder. Interesting summer...
That injury time winner v Pompey now looks valuable! Personally I don’t fancy us against West Brom - never seem to do much v them. But no reason why we can’t beat the other three.
Of course he’s not in the right place. The player gets a shot on goal. If he has to lay it back there are two more phases to go well. Anyway, immaterial now.
Dasilva has been much better of late but his defensive upturn amounts to 3-4 totally standard slide tackles. Also, he and Van Ewijk both favour the very early slide tackle - very risky penalty wise
Dasilva actually got back in time. But his lack of natural defensive nous meant he left the gap for their player rather than making him go to the bye line.
Personally I enjoy the information leaks. And let’s be honest if we make better decisions in Hulls area and score the 3-4 goals we should have it’s not even a debate.
Solid 6’s and 7’s. Rudoni is our creativity. Dasilva allowed to have a good game as they wanted to use Murphy. I wasn’t sure Sheaf and Grimes worked but it was somewhat forced. I’d be going with a from three of Wright Simms Saka from here on in
