I agree, in 1967 when I was 7 the older fans around me spent all match abusing our players and teaching me new words. 😉 The current match day experience is much more civilised in comparison.

I would guess that in the case of two clubs bidding against each other for Vik. They will both offer the agreed "release" amount, which reports suggest is less than the stated release fee AND Vik and his agent will pocket the extra funds in a bidding war.
