My reading of this transfer window is that prices for players at Championship level have been inflated and trying to secure suitable quality players at a level we considered value has been almost impossible. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues in January

The rumour regarding Ruduoni could only be a distraction that the club is happy to see. Especially as our transfer dealings are taking longer than they would like. At the end they f the transfer window if he’s still here we will all be relieved.

One thing to consider is that IF the MVE fee is paid “upfront “ , the club could be in a position to offer that as a term. This could be very attractive to a team in terms of FFP
