I would be shocked if we spent £100m if we got promoted. I'd imagine Doug would pay off the mortgage on the CBS first, then spend circa £40m on the squad and the balance on increased player wages and infrastructure.

Totally agree. We battered them for almost the whole game and then they scored with their one breakaway. I seem to remember that we clapped our team off the pitch despite the loss.

The results didn't reflect the talent of the squad for the "entertainers" season. The loss of McCallister and Keane in one transfer window, along with the bad injury that finished Steve Froggatt was a major factor in our relegation. The recruitment that transfer window was poor.
