    Baseball Ground

I'm sure it felt like I spent my entire (undistinguished) Sunday league career playing uphill and against the wind. I just can't figure out how it always happened both halves. 😁 Quite a few older grounds ended up with a 'crown' in the middle, didn't they? I thought it was because the centre of...

I suppose if you're going to have a bad one, you might as well make it memorably awful.

On the upside, MVE and Sakamoto are back on it. Thomas looks a proper attacking threat and is finding some superb passes. And.... err... I always liked Eustace when he played for us. Bidwell, bless him, comedy gold. If he doesn't spill a drink all down his front on the coach home, I'll be amazed.

It's like we're trying to get Wright to do Simms job, and vice versa. Not playing to either player's strengths. So frustrating.

Surely it's time to put Wilson up front. Could hardly be worse...

Have a like, though I've absolutely no idea what a treq thingy is. 😄 I assume it's someone who can pass the ball forward, mostly to someone in sky blue. In which case, I agree.

God knows why, he's done very little of use tonight. We are at least showing a bit of threat down the left now.

Not exactly inspiring. Feels a bit like possession for the sake of it sometimes . Simms simply isn't a great target man, it just doesn't stick to him, and he looks ponderous imho. Wright also looks a long way off his best. We can turn it around, but it will need a lot more aggression and...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Also, WW2 and Jesus. That wouldn't have happened if I'd been President. Hitler and Pilate, strong leaders, good people, I like them, we could've had a deal. Though you know, Europe and Jesus, they didn't have the cards, they really shouldn't have started it.

In fairness, the initial reaction from a few was that it was a serious injury. I don't think it's unreasonable to point out that it's unlikely that he's ruptured his Achilles if he's walking around. I've seen a few go in my time, it's a classic old boy injury - you don't generally walk around...

Can't think he's popped his Achilles if he's walked off. Hopefully it's just a calf strain...

Does BTA have an actual brain? He honestly looks like he doesn't know what he's going to do when he gets the ball. Fucking useless.

    Rudoni injury

Best football-related documentary ever. Knocks spots over that made-up crash they have on Amazon Prime.
