Those tiny 50g jars of Gold Blend, looked almost like samples. I don't use very much myself, for a long time I only ever served it to visitors who preferred it to real coffee and it goes stale very quickly after breaking the seal if not used up.

It's intentional. Scriptwriters know their only chance of continued employment is to write an open ending even when they're told long in advance it will be the series finalé. There's always the hope a series will be brought back at some future date (which it sometimes is).

Yes. The entrance on the right used to be low enough to drive a horse and cart through to a grassed area at the back. The rag & bone man used to park his cart there and us kids left outside handfed his horse with the grass while our parents were drinking inside.

There were SIX in Gosford Street when I lived there and if you stood in the right spot you could see all six of them. That doesn't include the pubs which were converted to shops many years earlier.
