Actually he did play again. He went to Bolton on loan and then signed for them making about 25 or so appearances, and I think he played a handful of games for Blackpool too. Christ knows how he managed it. Edit. Reading your post again I see you may have meant didn`t play again for City.

Saw all apart from Mason. Never rated Kearns much myself. Thought him a bit one paced and he struggled against a decent winger. Heard years later that he had knee problems and had to play with pain killing injections which might explain his lack of pace.
