    Referee

I’m fairly sure he was the referee in the reverse fixture (which was of course the nail in MR’s coffin). That in itself, doesn’t happen very often. Whilst we were also abysmal on that occasion he made some shocking decisions that night too. From memory, their second goal was blatantly offside.

Sky fixture changes for January onwards

Great news, hadn’t seen this confirmed until now. A bit of normality for the first couple of months in ‘25 is most welcome ☺️

Or could we tempt Cooper perhaps? 🤔

    Referee

https://www.efl.com/news/2024/august/07/what-to-expect-from-match-officials-in-2024-25-/ The appalling standard is ruining the game. I can’t remember the last time that a player (particularly GK) was booked for time wasting. The obligatory yellow used to be shown deep into stoppage time, but...

Can’t remember the last time I was dreading an away day as much. At least it’s only down the road… 😭

    cheating fake injuries again

absolutely, stems from the manager. To be honest, it had little impact today as we continued in the same manner and had our second disallowed goal soon after. It wasn’t until they went down to 10 that they had their best spell of the game. I doubt anything will be done, the authorities are a...

    cheating fake injuries again

very frustrating, and blatantly obvious what they were doing. It’s becoming more and more frequent too. Needs to be stamped out by the authorities, perhaps by not allowing the rest of the team to congregate around the manager when the keeper goes down. Their theatrics were embarrassing, the...

    Swansea game moved?

Bizarre. Don’t recall seeing anything formally announced.. even missing from the club website for the original date. The good news is that we will now fulfil the fixture in April at the Alan Higgs Centre!! 😆

    On this day in 2001

apart from on here 🤣 but yes, I think after all we’ve been through both on and off the pitch over the past couple of decades, it’s brought a realisation for most that we are lucky to still be in existence, and also grateful for how far we’ve come in a relatively short space of time.

    On this day in 2001

I was gutted when he eventually got the chop but I think there was a lot of ill feeling towards him at that point. Would’ve been very difficult for him to turn it around. Nilsson came in and had an unbelievable run. Faltered so badly towards the end of the season, as we seemed to do each year...

    On this day in 2001

Can still picture Hedman inexplicably losing the ball and Phil Jevons scoring from long range into an empty net, much to the delight of the 3 travelling supporters. Toxic it most certainly was. No way back for Strachan after that. I recall Micky Adam’s last game in charge (I think it was...
