    Best pub for away fans

Thanks. As much as anything I'm looking for recommendations for all Town fans. I've linked here from the Huddersfield Town forum so people can make their own decisions based on what they want. Recommendations so far are helpful. Thank you.

    Best pub for away fans

Hi folks. Huddersfield Town fan here in peace. Just wondering if you could advise which are the best pubs for away fans to go into before the game? Thanks.

I think you may be right. To be fair to him, he has struggled with injuries since he's been here and I expect that's at least part of why his time at HTFC has been so disappointing. To his credit he's looking for a move where he's likely to get regular first team football rather than sitting on...

I think you're right, although strange that he did so badly at Chesterfield on loan if that's the case. Maybe just didn't fit in, or getting sent back early from there gave him the jolt he needed? I think he can answer that one better than I can. On balance I think it's best for both HTFC and...

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

A few months ago, you'd have found HTFC fans queueing up to drive him to Cov themselves. 4 years of mostly dross, interspersed with being injured. Then last season he went on loan to Chesterfield & was sent back early. You'd struggle to find anybody who hadn't written him off a long time ago...

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

Huddersfield Town fan here - yep, it was news to me that we'd signed Carson. I've never heard of him tbh! Murphy isn't part of CP's plans, so wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to Cov.

    Most likeable people in football

My sister met Denis Law at a charity fundraiser. She's no football fan (she wondered if I'd heard of him!) but apparently he was a thoroughly nice bloke.

    Most likeable people in football

When I was still living in Huddersfield I used to play 5-a-side with a group of mates after work. Shortly after I moved to Coventry they were playing & they had uneven sides. Frank Worthington came along to watch & a mate of mine jokingly invited him to make up the numbers so they had even...

Blimey - he's only 20 now isn't he? Impressive if he was playing regularly at 18(?) in the Championship. By the sounds of it I hope you're wrong about us not signing him - he sounds like exactly the sort of player that we could do with. It'll be interesting to see whether your stars will sign...

Cheers. I live in Radford. There aren't so many of us down here although there were a few town fans in the Wallace for the match v Charlton that ended the big unbeaten run. Otherwise I'm Billy-no-mates in the pub when town matches are televised.

That might have been the case under the old system but the new EPPP rules (which are grossly unfair imo) I can't see how you'd get much more than £250k. It's not a reflection on how good a player he is or how much potential he has - but how many games he's played, at what level, how long he's...

(Coventry based) Huddersfield Town fan in peace. Rumours among HTFC fans is that we offered £500k (I assume if that's true that was our 2nd & final bid). I've never seen him play so I have no idea how good he is - but my first instinct was to think that's a hell of a lot for a Lg1 full back...
