Since Lampard has come in he’s enabled Rudoni to go from right to left and create overloads on either flank. He’s been much more effective. I think it can continue regardless of shape. At Millwall away Rudoni barely touched the ball in the middle of the pitch and he was the 10 in 4231 that day...
