Tesco parking (1 Viewer)

Having read all of the above and ploughed through the name calling and silliness, I find myself waiting for a ticket, having parked at Tesco's on Tuesday.
I do wonder about the validity of the notices displayed on the car-park. Myself and my 2 passengers tried to read them - all of us use glasses, and couldn't make out the wording. All I could see for definite was the figure "5", which we interpreted as 5 hours of parking, which we thought was generous.
The car-park was very empty as well, which I would argue meant we weren't depriving anyone of a parking space.
Wait and see............

Wingy, no disrespect to you but the two posters I responded to have been acting like a couple of idiots towards me.

Hahahahaha are you for real. Grow a pair you little fanny, oh sorry, you little f***y.

Why haven't you been on for a while Frankley, you having to deliver them too?

I've had a letter from park watch saying there next action is a court summons, I've took Grendel's advice and sent a letter to the manager of Tesco Ricoh asking for help as I didn't keep my receipt from my shopping and still waiting for a reply.

That's because as you say, I've only just come on and saw that there was a reply so answered this which was a while ago. But my mistake, I'm sorry Nick. Unlike you I don't live my life on here. But nice to see the forum police backing up certain posters.

I am not backing anybody up, I am not saying anything about the argument.

Just that you have come on saying "Why haven't you been on for a while?" when they last posted 3 days ago and you posted over 20 days ago.

Just a bit strange.

You've not posted for a while, have you been on remand... again? Or were you Sectioned? Or was it just that the computers in the library weren't working?

I wouldn't have been delivering Penalty Notices (they can't issue Penalty Charge Notices for a car park) as I don't work in parking enforcement. I'm very familiar with the legislation covering a variety of road traffic matters because of what I do for a job.

my son has just had a PCN from Park Watch cos he went to an evening gig there a couple of weeks ago. went in at 19.41 and left at 23.09 so these fuckers charge 24/7.

£100 or £60 if paid within 14 days.

We got a charge after the oldham game but spent in tesco's after the game and sent receipts in response to charge and have not heard anything since

Is there a receipt sharing forum in Coventry? where people who have spent over £50 can donate their receipt to people?

The terms on the website say to keep receipts from the stores (doesn't have to just be Tesco) for 14 days. If your son's penalty notice arrived more than 14 days from the date of the event he could make a representation on the grounds that the 14 days he was expected to keep receipts for had elapsed before he received the notice.

Shit comeback yet again. Your piss must be boiling if you're not blocking out your swearwords Mr Angry. Oh and you don't need to put a capitol S on sectioned when in the middle of a sentence, you of all people should know that in your job. Talking about your job, I wasn't on about delivering penalty notices but something else that often gets delivered you d**khead.

I really don't understand why some people take the risk of getting a £60/£100 fine when there's plenty of parking close by for £3-£5. Must be a lot of people with money to burn in Cov these days...

What a crap comeback from an absolute tosser.

I can't be 'Mr Angry' because I'm a woman, but your delusion that I'm a man is just indicative of the fact you're a dickhead and you spout absolute shit.

Of course, you know more about how 'sectioned' should appear in a sentence, but that's because you've been sectioned before haven't you!

What do you think I've been delivering then, you arsehole!

I thought I recognised the style of writing Frankley...AKA Mrs Angry from the old Telegraph forum. I always had a good laugh at the "Illuminati Clique" Torchomatic, HTO, Mrs Angry etc, No wonder it got closed down and I'm glad I never joined it. Every week they would "Shout Down" or take the piss at a poster that didn't conform to their way of thinking. I think they ended up with about 5-6 posters in the end, so closed it down lol.
PS. The only decent poster was Sky Blue Fred...Even he had enough and left.

Whether anyone agrees with Frankley or not on posts, she does come across as very, very angry and aggressive unfortunately.

It's like the old Andreas B all over again. ;)

I do believe it is possible to conduct a civilised, quite heated argument without having to resort to abuse and name calling.

Only when you have answer to an argument.
If you don't just call everyone names that should swing it.
