I've got an idea.
If there is a car park where it says you will be fined if you park there for over the allotted time,
Why don't you park somewhere else maybe?

I don't know why people do anyway, can never get out :( Plenty of better places to park where you don't have to spend anything.

It's so true. i've been parking in a spot for the last 5 years that's not too far from ricoh and is Free. it is in a dodgy spot but i've never got a ticket ever.

What a crap comeback from an absolute tosser.

I can't be 'Mr Angry' because I'm a woman, but your delusion that I'm a man is just indicative of the fact you're a dickhead and you spout absolute shit.

Of course, you know more about how 'sectioned' should appear in a sentence, but that's because you've been sectioned before haven't you!

What do you think I've been delivering then, you arsehole!

Oh dear, trying to pass yourself off as a woman. How low will you stoop? I have a very good idea who you are so it doesn't surprise me that you'd try that line.

You only come on here recently, well under that name anyway. You must have been observing for sometime I bet and have been itching to join the fray again. Work must be slow for you but I'm sure you can spin the recent things that have happened.

It's also nice to have a stalker, just a shame it's you. Please don't reply though as I really can't be arsed with a burger flipper this evening

Odd that. You berated someone else about crapping themselves over some form of bet - Chief Dave - I believe - I then offered you a bet and you never responded.

So I will make it easy for you.

I will lay a bet of £50,000 that I do not flip burgers but I am in a managerial position in an automotive industry. I have already challenged you on this and you shat yourself and left the thread.

So go on Big Boy take the bet

In your dreams maybe.

I think the poor chap has left the building - perhaps his shift at Burger King is beginning - who knows.

Anyway he's such a hard man in sure he will respond to my bet.

He's viewing the thread as I type - go on take the bet.

Right, first of all you little pervert (how else would you know to call me 'big boy?) my bet with Chiefdave was a sensible bet and in keeping with the thread it was on. You do realise that making daft bets like you just have makes you look even more like a c**t (if that's actually possible). But back to your bet you little stalker you, the reason I called you a burger flipper was because you spouted shit about being some high flying businessman who made £250k deals over the phone like you were Alan Sugar or something. I called you what I did because that's probably similar to something you do, like say work in a cafe in the automotive industry. But I called it you because I knew it would get under your skin and it obviously did, else why would you make such a stupid fucking bet. So to summarise, I called it you because you act like a complete c**t on here so if you can prove to me (and everybody else on here) that you are indeed a decent bloke and not the complete c**t you come across as then you can have some money off me. But, if you keep acting like you do then you lose I suppose.

Keep stalking me by all means though, it's quite amusing.

A truly bizarre post which is the ultimate dichotomy. The dichomoty is that you accuse me of stalking you and yet you remember a conversation regarding doing a deal of a quarter of a million pounds over the phone which must have been said at least 3 years ago. I understand the reference and again can provide documented evidence that this did exist. It will, however, again come at a huge cost to you as I will insist on a colossal wager that you can't afford.

Your comment regarding flipping burgers in an automotive industry as some form of reposte shows you to be floundering and hopelessly exposed and out of your depth.

You are a vile obnoxious individual. That actually I don't care about but I genuinely believe you probably require some form of mental health treatment

You do, however, abuse many decent and honest people on here.

It has to stop - it's beyond funny and the notion I would stalk such an irrelevance as you, well, it even leaves me speechless. Under my skin? Are you for real? You don't even graze the surface little chap.

Ask yourself one simple question Grendel, if I am such an irrelevance then why do you keep going?

Just had a £60 fine (rising to £100) come through for the semi as I was running late. Anyone else had one/any advice on what I can do?
It's weird because we went well over time, ages back. It was actually 21st Jan.

We were parked there for nearly four hours. Never, ever received a ticket though. Am guessing the cameras weren't working that day.

Urgh, yeah so frustrating. Done a load of overtime this month to help save towards a wedding later this year, depressing that once taxes, student loans and this come out, it will have been time wasted. Shit timing!

What was the date. I parked in tescos and got nothing. Did the fine come within 2 weeks so you did not destroy receipt.i keep receipts and scan them.happy to send you.
Just checked web site if demand is over the 14 days you can justify saying not kept receipts ( for tescos) as time requirement had lapsed

Probably need to keep my receipt in case a fine is about to come to me....But can't see how they can make you pay

Ok
Of course, thank you for your offer though. Also thank you for pointing out the 14 day notice period, i have appealed on this grounds and basically said i wont even entertain looking for receipts as the fine goes against the official arena park stipulations.

Fine only came today, it was issued on the 6th March.

If the fine only came today, and it relates to parking on the day of the semi-final (7th Feb), then it's well over the 14 days requirement for retaining receipts as stated on the Arena Shopping website.

Parking - Arena Shopping Park

I'd draw their attention to this, and insist that they withdraw their demand for payment on this basis. I wouldn't even admit parking there on my correspondence, I'd just say that the notice doesn't meet the terms and conditions implied on the Arena parking website and that they've missed their own stated deadline for requesting evidence.

(Edit: Ah, sorry - crossed postings. Let us know how you get on though.)

Take a screenshot of that website though, just for the record. If they ever pull a a fast one and take it down it'll be useful!

Hi all,
don't worry about a parking charge from park watch. I recently had conformation that they have cancelled a charge that I received from them.
The main point amongst many that they fail on is that they are not members of the british parking association and are not allowed to obtain your details.
They have a parent company who are members but as they use their own business number on notices, then they cannot claim to be acting on behalf of the parent company.
If you wish to challenge the invoice (not a fine) then you must appeal first to park watch. They will turn down your appeal but don't worry as that is natural, but they must send you a popla code which you then give your reasons why they are not able to enforce the charge.
I have my appeal letter to popla which I can give anyone to use as a template.
I'm not good with computers but I can print it if required.
Check on the back of your notice and if the registered number is 08798058 then they are still using the same business number.

If you do want to challenge the charge then don't admit who the driver was and don't plead mitigating circumstances.
Stick to the points about their poor signs, contracts with the arena to manage park.

Thanks for this Wellerfan. I have gone along the lines of the website stipulating differently and might be worth noting the number appears to have changed from the one you have mentioned to : 08047971
