At least the telegraph are saying where people can watch the game in the city...well a list of pubs and not the Ricoh!

I hope people get up there tonight. I'm absolutely buzzing to see the Ricoh rocking for the first time this season.

Just a little update, all tests were clear thank God, so she has come home and she will be off school today and we were told to keep an eye on her. So I will be on baby sitting duty today. Very worrying and but the doctors gave her the all clear from something serious.
Thanks for the concern everyone.
At least I have the game on Sky to watch as long as its on Sky 1.
Glad she is OK buddy

I envy you guys this evening and I hope that all goes well on and off the pitch.
I vividly remember the league cup semi final at HR in 81, seldom did the old place rock like it did that night, 0-2 down to two of the softest goals you will ever see and a great comeback and unusual Gary Thompson hat trick.
Take us to Wembley and I will join you.......

I was there that night in the west end.

Me and my dad missed the first 10 minutes as the crowd massive. I seem to be remember a crowd of around 38000, Is that right?

And i am sure that the first goal to West Ham was an own goal by Gary Thompson.

Any way i cannot go tonight as i'm 4500 miles away.

The first game that i have missed at home in this competition.

Hope all Sky Blue fans have a great night.

Sounds like a lot paying on the gate which is encouraging. Also looks like most of the main stand is full, maybe around 80%.

Would be nice to get round the corner but I'm not sure if it'll happen. Also, are they selling tickets in block 14?? That's cool.

I know it's a nothing trophey further degraded by the efl, I know we're getting relegated, I know the future is bleak to say the least. But I for one do not give a flying fuck.
I physically cannot wait for tonight.
Come on City, do it just this once, please god just give us this...

There was just over 35k there. I was on the Kop, it was an amazing evening.

Tommo didn't get a hatrick, Daly scored our first.

1st was a Les Sealy own goal and then the Thompson own goal, but what a comeback, watch it on YouTube. Stunning!

The West Ham game in 81 I was in the main stand (just turned 15) with my late father. Had tickets from one of the staff members (who got them from Gerry Daly). Yes Les Sealey let it squirm under his body and then seemed to push over the line (just) and then Thompson tried a back pass and put an extra toe on it to make sure and pushed it passed Sealey He was in tears bless him.

3 goals in the last 18 minutes made it 3-2 to us, there was also time for David Cross (ex City) to have a goal disallowed goal for offside) - we were all in tears a the end! Shame there had to be a second leg.

Was in the West End as well. Second leg at Upton Park was fun. Spent half the match dodging bottled and walking back to the car with two mates all alone in East London wasn't my idea of joy.

Just arrived in Coventry....well excited for tonight. Should get to the Ricoh for just after 6pm, all being well. My colleague isn't making it now, so I'll be on my todd but not bothered.

If anyone wants a ticket, then I have a spare for face value (so long as you're not a weirdo!).

My favourite !! I had never seen the goals on tv until last year when I got a copy of the midweek sports special last year.
