I'm off there at the weekend for my first family holiday with the little one. Didn't want to venture abroad with a 5 month old, so hoping the weather is nice. Any suggestions on things to do or places to eat when I'm down there?

Monkey world is not too far away. Supposed to be a good day out. Never been myself though.

Going to monkey world, watched a programme on it a few years back and always said that I'd visit it if I were down there. At least with a child I have an excuse now haha.

Monkeyworld for me was not brilliant or my kids, the Tank museum is the daddy but I guess a 5 month old won't fancy that.
The Smugglers Inn is nice and the Bridge Inn.
