Appeal granted (2 Viewers)

So you are saying the attendance is low because people think CCFC are SISU?

People see it as a negative factor. I know some who use it as an excuse.

Yesterday the club announced its owners had been granted permission to appeal against the decision not to grant JR2 or I think that's the correct summary. If the football club are as separate as you and no doubt Otium/CCFC would like to think they are why did they announce this on their website and not leave it to SISU to do it through their own channels?

While you have people blaming sisu for somebody not answering the phone in the ticket office or outrage being worked up because a young lad gets a dream move to man Utd, it dilutes everything else.
The last time I saw that thread everyone seemed to be happy for him. Maybe many would have liked him to stay. But how many blamed SISU like you are saying?

Quite a few on Twitter and on the CT site.

Excuse, not reason...

It's fact that CCFC are different from SISU.

The bigger question is, why are you so eager to make them appear to be the same entity after not bothering with here in so long? Why does the Telegraph then drag up the Butts stuff with an out of context quote from Jon Sharp to try and do the same thing?

FACT.
Where is your link to prove that once and for all?

IMO we'll still be at the Ricoh. When push comes to shove, Wasps will grant another short term deal.

So I am in here on behalf of the CT or council or whoever else you see as lined up against the owners, sorry club. Christ, you might need to get off here a bit more.

If you have a spare Saturday go up CRFC not only do you have a great choice of pubs before the game you also support the real rugby club in Cov, but anyway, the board often work the room in corporate and sometimes mingle in the bar. Ask any of them for their thoughts on sharing a ground with CCFC/SISU and you will be left with no misunderstanding on the statement that appeared in the CT is a milder version.

You tell me why you suddenly appear to push that? I've not mentioned anything about the council or anything else, just that you made it a bit too obvious.

I could also ask them why if CCFC are the same as SISU and they can't work with SISU why they share office space, ticket offices and why CCFC are sending out emails promoting things for them, right?

No they aren't.

Are people desperate to make CCFC the same entity as SISU so they feel better when they kick off at CCFC thinking it's taking their anger out on SISU? That's looking more and more obvious.

when have I kicked off at ccfc never issue yes all the time

Push what exactly? It is well known that Cov Rugby will not touch CCFC/SISU with a barge pole and it looks like Wasps will adopt this approach also.
There is a chance CCFC will leave Coventry which will be the end of the club as we know it if this happens. I would say that compared to say the formation against Cambridge this is the bigger fish in the pan.

Well, you did flounce of like a girl stating never to return. When you do return it is on threads like this....

Whether or not CCFC is SISU or not SISU, nothing is going to be agreed upon as long as Joy is playing hardball through the courts. If I were Wasps, CRFC or CCC, I would say carry on with your court cases as long as you see fit, but until it is finally over, the present deal will end and there will be no more discussion s about CCFC's tenure at the Ricoh or The Butts.

The choice for Joy is crash the club or continue with the court case.

Is she crashes the club, then someone else will bid for the wreck.

Not nice, but it is up to Joy at the end of the day.

SISU are Otium

Otium are CCFC

SISU are not CCFC

OSB has confirmed it multiple times also ;)

Nobody questions otium etc etc, just that CCFC are not the same as SISU.
No that is not what he said.
Otium, sisu, CCFC no difference, just a name for a section of the same company.
Lots of companies do the same.

Read back through the thread and his posts...

Nobody ever questions otium / ccfc
Why should any one question Otium they are owned and run by Sisu no matter how you want to spin it so the buck stops there IMO.
Any why do I need to believe everything OSB says?

Otium is the underlying company behind CCFC. Otium is owned by SISU and ultimately controls what CCFC does including taking CCFC into court for this next JR.
On that subject of the JR, I'm ambivalent. Would CCFC fans be behind it if Northampton hadn't have happened?

Who in their right mind would be behind fruitless, pointless legal action that win, loose or draw won't benefit CCFC in any way shape or form? Can't seem why Northampton would be a deciding factor in anyone's thinking on this. In fact I don't understand why you're even bringing up Northampton at all.

...I would think that is very much the case. Many of those I know who no longer go simply point the finger at Tim Fisher. They see him as the mouth piece of SISU at the football club. Now whether that's right or not, its what they surmise, and that's what they believe and that's why they don't go.

Another free gift to SISU's PR team playing the "suddenly back" card.

What do you think about the statement on the clubs website where they're trying to make out it's nothing to do with the club despite as you know Otium being listed on the court proceedings? Any comment on the "clubs" (let's face it the statement didn't really come from the club) misunderstanding of what constitutes the club and what constitutes our owners? You're always tripping over yourself to be at the front of the queue when someone gets the distinction wrong to discredit them in some way how about some consistency and do the same with the clubs misunderstanding of the situation? Unless of course you only have the one agenda.

It is the club and ARVO who are instigating legal proceedings.

Yes because Arvo Master fund lent the club money and the club owes them money. Arvo Master fund are based in the Cayman Islands and its directors are listed as SISU Capital Ltd.,
