I remember playing a cup final and they had them and square nets. Was as if it was Wembley.

That is because there was no colour clash. The reason they change is if the 2 teams shirts are similar in colour to the refs etc i.e. very dark shirts. But yes, good to see the traditional black. And on that subject I thought the officials were good although @sw88 might not agree!

Thought the ref was a bit anal at the end - clearly a corner from Jodi's curling kick past the post - then he booked Jones which was unnecessary

Thought they were the best I'd seen up there for a long time - yes, I know it's probably not saying a lot.

Trust me it was a justified caution on Jones. He had been badgering at the ref 4 or 5 times back to the halfway line. Probably a bit of inexperience when next time he will keep his mouth shut.

Absolutely right. I was just saying to the guy behind that jones appeared to be chasing the ref to the halfway. Silly caution and if/when he is suspended sometime towards end of the season today will be the reason.

Hey, don’t be singling me out on that subject :) I give them credit when it’s due; it just doesn’t happen often because in the main they are pretty shit! :D

But today, I don’t think they got much wrong. And I agree re Jones booking.

I’ve seen two decent refs this season before today. Otherwise they’ve been as much use as the white dog poo that was mentioned above :)

I get they need a non black kit for clashes but that lime green thing is disgusting, who approved that?
