Unless we get out of there sharpish we are going to have to get used to this I'm afraid.

There is no budget argument at all this year, this is all Robins and the players.

That's what worries me, Otis. I worry this might end up being our only chance to go up before we get into the usual downward spiral. And with Christmas drawing closer, we simply cannot afford our usual second half of the season slump.

We need to be top 7 or thereabouts come January. Then at that point Robins has to strengthen.

We need another wide player to compliment Jones as a priority (and no, I don't mean someone walking past him and saying 'nice moustache!')

no he didn't, he said there is no point talking about transfers as we can't bring anyone in atm i.e we're outside of the transfer window

His movement is better than anyone elses bar maybe Ponticelli. He's no right winger and he needs players who can pick out that movement which Kelly and Doyle can't do from the halfway line and Jones can't because he has decision making skills that are on a par with my 3 year old.

That's the thing, there was no point him making decent runs. Same with Ponticelli, he was making some really good runs tonight and losing his marker but it was pointless.

Biggest mistake was not getting James Collins in, sign him and we've automatically got 20 goals plus, not signing him was huge

Can someone explain to me how we have keepers making mistakes, a keeper who has been constantly useless at kicking a ball for about 3 years but no questions ever get asked of the goalkeeping coach..

That's more like it. Don't think I have ever heard a manager say in October that he won't be able to bring players in, in January. There is always the option to wheel and deal.
