Hi everyone, I am a new member of the forum, I am Italian therefore I apologize if I will make some grammar mistakes.
I registered to ask a question. You probably think I'm crazy for what I'm about to write.
I'm going to post a career with Football Manager 2018 on an Italian forum, and I invented this story: David Busst calls Stiliyan Petrov in memory of the experience they shared at Wychall Wanderers with the intention of offering him the City coach's role trying to bring Coventry City back in the top flight, and he accepted.
Obviously it's just a game, but if it happened in reality how would you react to this?I know that Coventry-Villa is a rivalry, maybe more one-sided by your side.

PS Almost always Football Manager make me become a fan of the club I managed,so i think i could became a Coventry fan with this game's edition

Hiring a coach with a Villa background wouldn't be a problem, we've had players directly from them in the past so it's not like crossing a sacred line or anything.

What's wrong with this?I was nicknamed Fox when i was playing football and 7 was often my shirt number...ther's some connection with City's world that i don't know?
Yeah, there maybe a nationwide ban, but here in Coventry we still like to shoot foxes.

Think this Villa nonsense came in the 80's whe Snoz was in charge and we hadn't beaten them home or away for decades. In reality Villa don't see it as a rival as much as Birmingham City. We then moved onto have the Leicester rivalry in the late 90's and 00's which again is one sided on our part. Go back to the 60's and it was Wolves who were the rivals, so erm, I'm lost............

We could accept a former villa wanker as a coach, but as soon as we lost a game we'd all be calling for his head!

This. The constant singing of SOTV at games is pretty pathetic and embarrassing.
This is what happens when all the other local teams have their own rivals so we're left with no one except Nuneaton, and I quite like them

The Leicester thing certainly isn’t one sided believe me...

I'm a product of watching City in the 80's/90's. and was brought up in a town/school full of Villa fans.
Still hate them to this day. Can't drive along the A38 into Brum without raising my middle finger at V***a Park..

All completely pathetic for a 45 year old man, but it seems to run deep with me.

Bollocks. Both Villa and Leicester have seen us as rivals, Villa less so but Leicester certainly did (and still do judging by the trolling on facebook).

I live in Leicestershire, the disliking of us is real certainly in the south of the county, not sure why people say it isn’t.
