I'd love to see it happen. I'd be absolutely overjoyed to get new owners. BUT, there's something that's holding me back from being able to. Maybe it's the experience of what's happened before with rumoured takeovers. We hear a lot from people, but nothing ever happens. I'd absolutely love to see new owners. It'd certainly feel like a new beginning after all this mess. If it happens, I'll be delighted. But until anything official is announced, I just can't get my hopes up.

Looks like it's going to be the same as when kcic bid for the club with a front man.

I really don't know what to make of all of this. Is this guy for real or not.

Anyway proof is in the pudding. My only thoughts are that the consortium of 4 must be linked up with Hoffman and Elliott and 1 other.

I don't for one minute believe he is fronting any offer or have any business accumen for such negotiations.

If this is for real he is just offering some funds towards this. He won't be the brains behind this possible bid.

Patience is a virtue, we've endured 10 years of SISU, we can wait that little longer to see if this is the real deal or not.

By the way, since he's been on social media with his claims about buying the club, his wife, his own parents and friends have received a lot of shit through private messages, some of them damn right fucking disgusting, no way would a husband and father put his family through all that, just for a prank. I have quite a few friends who know him and I trust their judgement, he's serious about buying this club.

Even if it was a wind up, I don't agree with his wife etc getting hassle for it. That's when it crosses the line.

To be fair though, your judgement has been proven wrong a fair few times when it comes to takeovers

Not really if you are willing to speak to people and treat them correctly you can get lots done.

Same in the work place treat people properly and you are more likely to get what you want, treat them like shit and that is what you are likely to get.

The problem for you Nick is you speak to usernames, whilst I talk to real named people in the real world. I'm just another human who passes on any information regarding CCFC, nothing gained or nothing lost when I do pass info on too.

The only thing I would say Duff. Is if it had done it all on the QT. Which is what I would have done. Then nobody close to him would have got abused. Plus it is better for him to do it that way.

If he's now one of four, that is clearly where he should have taken this in the first place. He jumped the gun coming on CWR and getting carried away with his claims.

If he had just gone to Hoffman in the first place and THEN posted the message that he has posted tonight, he would get a lot less shit from people.

Friday was inaccurate and some of it just not true. Think he let his exuberance get the better of him.

Apparently formal offer is with solicitors. From FB again.

It sounds like it is the same sort of thing as the Hoffman deal but he is just doing it direct himself on FB rather than leaking it to others.
