I can confirm that Dale Evans is away on business at the moment, with his business partner Joe Dhinsa. As soon as they are back in the UK they will conclude a deal to buy the club

I thought he denied it quickly because he named him personally on the radio after it had been bigged up by CWR all day?

If "but it hasnt been denied yet" is really the best way to disprove all of the posts on here that go against the things he has said then I'm worried.

You try to mock me for asking people for links to back up what they say, but you use "it hasn't been denied yet" as rock solid backup. :emoji_joy:

The second SISU have left and NO "Outstanding payments to them over the next however many years" will be the time I'll be back following my team Home and Away wherever possible.

Yes, but I'm not the one who ends up constantly looking like a gullible tool because they believe everything on Facebook or making massive U turns because I let Facebook polls and what people are shouting that week make decisions for me.

I ask for links to see if it's actually happened or not, I look into things.

You are trying to use "but it hasn't been denied yet" as a reply on a thread when people have pointed out multiple holes in the stories but you think you are in any position to try and mock anybody else? :emoji_joy:

And I have been holding this back, cos I don't like to tittle tattle, but I went on Facebook to ask him some questions the other day and someone on the thread contacted me on Messenger to tell me they knew him and that he was a serial bullshitter. Always bragging about cars and houses he's going to buy but never does.
This of course itself could be bullshit. I told Nick about it, but didn't like to just put up on here what might be pure tittle tattle.

There was an accusation of much worse about him, but I don't really want to relay that on here.

I have no idea if this person who contacted me was honest or not, but there are so many holes in this entire tale and it still leaves me very much doubting any of it, past that he would like to buy Coventry City Football Club, but then I would too.

We can all press our faces up against expensive car showroom windows can't we.

Oh no, did people on a Facebook group say nasty things? I will sleep OK tonight.

I hope you remember to put your facebook poll up to ask others what time you should go to bed and what else you should do through the day, you might struggle having your own thoughts and doing things without asking others on what you should do. Maybe learn to make your own mind up, you wouldn't go from bragging about your kids being brought up properly because they know right and wrongs about NOPM and then buying a season ticket. :emoji_joy:

It's usually what happens when people behave like sheep. They rely on what everybody is shouting rather than thinking for themselves about things.

Try thinking for yourself for a bit, you might like it.

I've been told he started off on bet365 and made a shit ton on poker. Friend of a friend has met with him (Barclays) and confirmed he is a very wealthy man, processed a cheque from bet365 for him.

What I don't get about this is what he's getting out of making this up? The chance to sit in JE's box for the weekend vs his family getting abuse and every Cov fan absolutely hating him when he's finally proven a fraud.

If that’s the stance of everyone what’s the point? The Club will be forever hamstrung.

Once they’ve gone and no longer in control, the fans should come back. In that instance the club would never be free of SISU

Fantasy comes to mind. Chinese whispers and a desperation from all of us for something like this to be true.

However to keep a positive spin going, I know if I had a substantial amount of money as is claimed this guy has come into, I would not risk it in a venture such as CCFC unless it was merely some backing money for a previous consortium who have already completed due diligence and all the rest of it, with a deal agreed in principal once an agreed price was triggered, placed and accepted. So the Hoffman consortia would seem the viable option.

Outside of that then it's publicity seeking at best and a run on someone's ego or desire to hear his name on the radio.

Maybe it's even a conspiracy from Nick, who has seen falling attendances on this forum from so many disinterested fans since falling to our latest low as a club. (I count myself as one) to get website hits!!!

Just as I'm aware that CCFC is a football team that has been here for 134 years, won the FA cup in 87 and the checkatrade in April. I'm aware CCFC are at the mercy of SISU's decisions. But maybe when he first contacted CWR he naïvely thought he would be seen as some kind of local hero by the City hoards. Maybe he though people would just buy into the story and didn't consider any subsequent abuse.

This is it and why this is interesting. He isn't a business man. Dhinsa was so there was a element of promoting his background and his little mini empire. Dale on the other hand has no business to promote.

My only other thought is that this whole Dale Evans bid is a diversion tactic by Robins and Seppala to hide the fact we didn't sign a decent striker in the summer and we probably won't score a goal again this season.

And nothing to gain from lying either, neither does his friends who have confirmed him being truthful gain anything, why would all these people risk the fury of our fans if proven to be all lies.
