Allegedly a Cov Fan Shouted from a minibus/car, “look there’s a terrorist” to female lady of ethnicity (a Luton fan) going to the match. Apparently was recorded and reported to the police. Happened around 1330 around close proximity to the ground.
Hats off to any female fan going to any footy match especially one from an ethnic minority. Hopefully this idiot doesn’t put her off.

And I'd hardly say the country is full of racists, just the odd few I'd say.
There were over a thousand away fans yesterday, and 1 reported incident,
(Still 1 too many) but it hardly merits such a rant.

Not as bad as the a half a dozen young Asians who were chasing and harking abuse at an older City fan while he was getting on to a coach.
He had to bite his lip and say nothing as, did everyone else or they could have been labelled something.

Whats the problem? spent 20 years as a young lad from Irish parents who came to Coventry in 1953 potless, my mother trained to be a midwife and staff nurse at Gulson hospital, my old dad went to the butts college at night (could hardly read or write) and did his city and guilds 1 and 2 and worked for British Gas for 36 years. He also joined the territorial army and ran for Coventry Godiva.
Worked another 21 years as a caretaker at Barrs Hill. At 84 they still asked him to come in and show the new young lads the job.
He also worked as a steward at Highfield Rd for 8 years too.
I lived through an era of comedians on tv telling jokes about "paddies" and how thick they are ...English Irishman and a Scotsman blah blah and the IRA bombings when as a 7 year old lad abuse from people who knew better who were mothers of children who used to play with me.
My parents put more into this great country than millions of people who scrounge, shag and just live a life on hand outs. Some one who gets called a paki etc is wrong but dont forget what my parents and many many other families got far worse.
"No blacks no dogs no Irish" was often seen in boarding houses. Ask many a African person who lived through the same era they will say the same.
Too many people dont realise the world is full of ignorant people who soon change their attitude when a surgeon from African ancestry comes to see them before they go under the knife at hospital.

The lad made a right play of it in court, making out he was afraid to leave his house now and all sorts while giving it shit to my mate outside the courthouse.
OK my mate is no angel, but it was hardly an appropriate response when he’s being set on by two guys.
