Aren’t they building a new stadium? Might be wrong but sure I heard it somewhere

Trying to navigate that Web site via mobile is a nightmare. Thier fans might be a bunch of picks, but they must also be fucking loyal to put up with that shit!

Anyone remember their plastic pitch. Awful ground and awful pitch back then which gave them a massive cheating advantage at home in those days
Yes mate,Went a couple of times in the 80's with that pitch the ball used to bounce about 30 foot in the air.
Made for some terrible football.

Had plans to do so for about 30 years.

Why do people have to be horrible about other clubs? They're all just people, like us, supporting their home club. Be nice.

Should’ve had to good sense to get born in a decent town with a respectable club.

“Mother! Point that vagina at Coventry now!”

Their ground way be a dump, and its looks terrible from the outside when you drive up Hatters Way. However, I actually quite like it. A throwback to the good old days. Decent atmosphere, and about the right size for the attendances they get. Although it is impossible to use the seats as they too close to the ones in front. Makes Ryanair's planes seem spacious!

What struck me from some of the comments was the amount of stick their manager was getting. They were top of the league, leading scorers, second best defensive record, on the back of a nine game unbeaten run having scored 8 I think in two league games this season and he was still being berated simply because they lost the game. I think the only way to be considered a good manager these days is to virtually win every game. Saturday's game was in the balance until injury time when Shipley scored. Had their centre forward scored that easy chance Luton may well have gone on to win. So for a miss their manager had no control over what so ever, he is being questioned. Unbelievable really. We thoroughly deserved the win on Saturday but that miss probably saved Robins from similar stick on here when his defence for once let him down and left their forward free, an incident that he also had no control over. For some it seems the manager is a genius when the team wins and a clown when they lose.

You sure they are not really Coventry fans in disguise.

They've has various plans for a new stadium for 30+ years now, many different designs that have failed to work out but currently they have ambitions for Power Court out by the M6 which is gaining more momentum than any previous efforts did. Looks impressive to me.

Power Court - Our Preferred Location for Luton Town Football Club

If it's out by the M6 then if our fans were angry about the move to Northampton, their fans will be fuming at having to traipse at least 60 miles. :)

I was under the impression that Power Court would be built on what was a former light industrial estate, in the town centre. Opposite the Arndale Centre and the (rather fetching chequered) church. A lot of works have recently (within the past 2 years) been done down towards the bottom of Crawley Green Road, widening the road in that area to two lanes.

I must be getting mixed up with a previous proposal of theirs, and yes I meant M1! ha ha

Hilarious - especially with comments like Coventry'sup final - Cov raised their game because they were playing Luton - This from a team that played in the conference 2013-2014 - there are some sensible quotes like Cov were the better team on the day - but the majority think they are a superior outfit and that Cov and there fans are shite
