Lovely ball to Jones for the first from Shipley.

Yeah perfectly weighted that move all started from us not being awarded a goal kick linesman never flagged Willis stopped on the by line their bloke closing him down, their defence jogging back thinking it had gone out & Willis having to rush a clearance on his left foot which Biamous got to and started the attack

Right in front of us-whole of the ball didn't go over the line for the goal kick. But yeah, everyone stopped-golden rule-play to the whistle!

That lino didn't have a clue, when Burge got fouled he was asking for ages if he could pick it up. The lino had no idea.

Yep, we were standing by the front row.
The one where Burge was booked was the officials getting in a bit of a muddle. The referee stopped play to stop a melee after Burge had caught the ball and was challenged slightly late. Then everyone runs over etc etc. As the referee had stopped the game the correct restart was a dropped ball which is what the referee did. As the referee was getting back into position the assistant was pointing at Burge to put the ball on the ground as it was a free kick! They will be marked down by the assessor for that mix up.

When he got booked he had only just got the ball, it was a bit further out I think? The defenders were messing about with it, then burge got it and got booked.

That one where he was checking if he could pick it up, the lino had no idea and the ref took ages to turn round.

Yeah, everybody else spotted it but the lino. Think he was waiting to be told what to do.

As per, then you get the lino in the Leeds game earlier who decided to give a pen all by himself and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions you'll ever see!

Haven't seen that one, noticed it much more in this division.

So many times yesterday it was whoever shouted first got the decision.

It was, and I have a lot of faith in this lad, he has a fantastic left peg, gets stuck in, can actually pass a frigging ball and plays with no fear.

He'll be better than Maddison, guarantee it.

And I'm in the camp of those that enjoy a tasteful grey shirt. That Picasso-vomit away strip that Utd had in 1996 doesn't count, that was a truly appalling kit. Bleuuggh...

From that still, yes it is. Hard to give that though with the naked eye and one look only with the bodies in front etc. In the defence of the assistant though if he isn't sure that the ball has gone out he can't give the decision.
