Personally feel our squad is looking very strong indeed. When you think Beavon and Hyam and Kelly Evans can’t make the match day squad.

I think Robins man management is going to be severely tested during the next couple of months as he try’s to keep the players on the bench.....Stevenson, McNulty, Vincenti etc and those not in squad Hyam, Camwell and Beavon,

Hyam would get into most league two teams easy.

We need one striker, and one winger.

My thoughts exactly
However I wouldn’t be adverse to some moving on to allow the striker and winger in.

We have to be more ambitious in the first half, we generally are a second half team and it puts us on the back foot...

The real problem the club has isn’t the need for a striker that doesn’t exist.

Other teams have free scoring players all over the pitch. Notts county strikers contribution is less than ours.

The issue is clearly the way the team sets up against certain opponents. We have beaten most teams who are vying for promotion and scoring goals against them.

It’s a different story against poor opposition where we create nothing. We don’t need two holding midfielders in these games and we need to break down opponents who play negatively.

That’s our issue.

Yes. I wonder if Don was the berk behind me rattling on about "SISU doing things on the cheap, get a bloody striker". He went quiet second half.
On second thoughts it can't have been Don, at least this bloke was at the game

People by me were hammering Biamou if he didn't win a ball, even if it was the other side of the pitch.
Wasn’t just around you.

I like Max. Potential to become a very Good player.

I was shocked he is 27, I thought he was like 21....he looks like he’s 18-21

We wouldn't necessarily need to change the personnel to achieve this, Robins could simply give Kelly a more advanced role against these teams

Sounds like you was near me.... had a clown on the back row moaning about sisu and tried a sisu out chant. Moaned were all moron supporters.... Never heard a peep the whole second half.

A few points from me on a great day out. First half we lacked any urgency, was resilient enough and adapted to the physical side of the game Lincoln imposed. Willis took the 1st half to adapt to being at right back and had a torrid time in the 1st half and JJ was not in the game at all.

Second half was much improved as we played on the deck and with a higher tempo that suited our game as opposed to lincolns non league/winter L2 ariel game.

The change of Nazon for McNulty was key as this gave us a instant impact and injection of life also sparking JJ into life as he does what he does best and ran at his man. The early goal helped a lot too.

Maxime Biamou was excellent the whole game against a physical side yet until Nazon came on no one played close enough to to benefit from his hard work tho clearly a boo boy for most.

JJ proved what a enigma he is, devastating second half from him after a shocker in the first.

Grimmers injury was a blessing for Willis as the impressive Tom Davies come in to cope with the physical ariel threats of the Lincoln side.

Fair play to the Lincoln fans, nice club still riding the wave of last seasons success. A enjoyable match day experience.

At least I had some humour near me, young lads shouting they were going to mess their players up, then they liked their boots.

A great result. Both half’s were polar opposite. First we were really bad. People were right to have a moan but second half I thought we were terrific. Deserved the win and the duck changed the game up front for us. Always looks lively. Jones was good to. Robins gets slated when he doesn’t change it but he changed it early yesterday and took off a woeful mcnulty and repacked with the duck who changed the game. Praise there. The atmosphere was unbelievable and I was going wild when we scored. So exciting.

Special mention for Davies at the back who I thought was exceptional. First time I’ve seen him play and he was immense.

Lincoln fans were good to and a sell out crowd. Fair play.

We weren't that bad first half. Just a bit single paced

I thought we were unlucky to be behind at half time as I wasn't particularly impressed with Lincoln who we felt with most the game.
A few individuals wasn't at it in the first half but mainly our tempo and style of play made us ineffective, that changed come the second half as all involved upped their game and approach play. Much better.

I was laughing at the abuse the players and manager were getting on the CT Facebook page at half time then nowt at full time. It was fun to revisit those posts and ask for updates from those idiots.
