Hello all,
I have just had an email back from the club shop to say the DVD will be on sale very soon!
Which means I now have one present on my Christmas list...

are any of the fans who went to the game still here ?
Seems so long ago now you have to wonder if lots of granddads are sitting in armchairs somewhere telling
their grandchildren all about that famous day in history. That's if they can remember the day of course.

It’s crazy that they haven’t put this out ages ago particularly after the buzz it had for the city. I seem to remember the Man Utd dvd was out within about a month of the game

True, but I'm just pleased it is coming out. It would have made more commercial sense to release in May/ June, though we were being relegated at the time!
You never know, they might combine it with a cheap ticket offer to encourage fans to come over Christmas break / new year...

wonder if the two scorers from the day will be on hand to sign the DVD's on the day of release

not so sure. It will be only a week after the stadium location will be announced, so could increase sales
They could even arrange it that you place your order now and then go and pick the DVD up from the new stadium.

At last. Just pre-ordered a couple of copies. They still love charging the standard £5.00 postage fee for any item.

I see it's being launched in the week starting 11th December, and if you want to send it to Oz the deadline is the week before. It's a damn shame because it would have been ideal for friends abroad. Even by CCFC's standards, this strikes me a quite a creative way to try and prevent you giving them money.

That aside, I'm really pleased they've finally brought this out, and I'll be getting a couple. It was a brilliant day, tinpot trophy or not.

Blu-ray HD version available on a well-known auction site - full Sky Sports broadcast with adverts edited out. I bought this because, like many others, I thought the club would never get round to releasing it. I wasn't disappointed and I guess HD quality is better than a DVD.
