I think the naming rights will be bigger than a lot think because like Walsall our stadium can be seen from the motorway giving many view that others don't get . Added to this coverage in two sports three if you include snooker , also being on the main road into the city centre and regular exhibitions visitors to the hotel and casino. The only drawback is being the second naming people always remember the original.

Never heard such rubbish in my life (and after 5 years on here that's saying something). Be a lot cheaper for any company to build a billboard next to the motorway if that was such a valuable form of advertising. Which conglomerate sponsors the Bescot at the minute?

Might be a fair bit cheaper but a billboard would not get a mention every time on radio and television. a sport is played there like the Ricoh does.

I just want the Jaguar Arena with a big cat on the top.

Or anything with a local connection. Being sponsored by a Japanese photocopier firm always felt a bit... stale.

The way the city is going it’s Jaguar or Coventry Uni Arena :p

Ridiculous assertion, no where near the Motorway, well over 1km away.

Even if you know where it is it isn’t the easiest to spot going south and going north unless you’re rubber necking and driving without due care and attention you’ll never see it.

Besides, I’m still convinced that the naming rights bubble has burst. I’d be surprised if a 10 year deal at the Ricoh was worth anything like £10M anymore.
