Transfer Rumour Apparently close to signing 2 players (1 Viewer)

I appreciate he's not the finished article by a long way but the quantity of U18 goals he was scoring was reportedly garnering national attention and 250k for say a Stoke City, West brom, Huddersfield etc to dump him in their developmental side for a couple of seasons is nothing if they feel they can improve on the areas where he is still raw when he has that natural goalscoring ability. Had Cian Harries shown enough for Swansea to pay a fee for him?

His record for the U18's last season speaks for itself and was nothing short of fantastic - 27 goals I believe in all comps. I'd say a fee of around 250K would still be appropriate but would the club be willing to settle for a minimal fee when he currently is a potential future asset? Saying this, CCFC aren't in a strong enough position to barter transfer fees so it's plausible anything in the region of 250K would be accepted, assuming the add on clauses would be agreeable to both parties. So I do agree with you in a sense, my view would be we'd just settle for far less than his potential worth in 2/3 years time.

The lure of Cian Harries was that he was a like-for-like model of John Stones. Long are gone of the days of big brutes playing in the Premier League, a new breed of ball playing centre backs are the now the new 'in craze'. So yes, I believe he did show more to warrant his transfer fee - BUT only in his senior career.

Jimmy McWerton & Kane Northwich it is.

Jimmy is a tricky winger with a goal in him, great left foot but suffered with injuries. Northwich is a deep midfielder but more in the creative mould than Doyle and Kelly. Would suggest it's Stevenson on the way out.

Is it a wind up? Nothing in Google for them!

Just had a look
He got an achilles tendon problem and won't play during their season.

Oh has he been completely ruled out? I knew he was injured but didn't know he was out for that long before i was a sarcastic twat.

Baffles me that McNulty gets the stick he does. Looks one of the few players to have an ounce of creativity in him, and he's now getting the goals to back it up.

Because he takes more than 5 chances to score.

He's the better of an awful bunch going forward.

I'm hoping it's 2 wingers and a switch to 442 or just generally 2 quick players who want drive forwards.
Pace is a real issue that needs addressing this window

And yet again, credit to MR for doing his business before the window or opens, or if they're frees, doing it behind closer doors.

Fingers crossed they're what we need to not only stay in the play offs, but get climbing again.

One player rumoured to be joining is a winger from the Championship, not so much a young man, been around the block and has done well in his career without being fantastic.

Add to that an international as well!

A home nation. I’ve heard the rumour on social media and out of the mouths of other people...

Is there anything doing the rounds with reasonable speculation to who they may be?

Jim has been at Heltersketersgad in Finland but their season is over now. Kane is a free agent after being released from MLS minor league team Yeehaw Cowboyguns.

That's sealed then. You can't go wrong with social media and Chinese whisper.

While I would agree your outlook on it Otis, it’s come from a source that has been pretty reliable in the past.

What's the historical evidence then? The same sources got which players correct before? Be nice to know. :)
