I never said reneged on it. He bottled it. He did his usual wum abuse. So I challenged him to charity bet. You took it. Astute took it.
No messing took the bet exactly as it was said and it looks like you will win. He however bottled it say a long term injury doesn’t count. Told me all I needed to know. He is a little worm who can’t even do a charity bet properly.
That was enough for me. Life is a lot more pleasant with him on ignore.....

Just read that through. He takes the bet and says nothing of the sort about anything not counting. You initially state that:

You then throw in long term injuries as an addition, covering some more bases on your side of the argument (but not changing the bet)

The fact he played 42 games last season is not the biggest factor for me. Last season he was not 35 going on 36. There are very few Ryan Gigg's out there.

You offered a bet and he took it. There's no bottling, no wum abuse, no insertion of conditions to taking the bet, no worming out.

You're bang out of order for repeatedly throwing this out there and suggesting that he wouldn't even do a charity bet properly.

I haven't agreed with FP on a fair few threads and topics but a couple of points.

1. We have you who needed 3 accounts to push an agenda about a court case that was absolutely nothing to you. It is the equivalent of me being more interested in a court case with Middlesborough County Council than anything else and me and the wife opening a bottle of bubbly on the outcome. You also pushed a protest aimed at Tim Fisher's kids school if I remember?

2. We have Dongo who is consistently wrong even when shown up with photographic and video evidence, he goes through phases of saying the same things over and over and has no idea how to back it up as he goes off bbc live text for his information. He makes up random shit about imaginary strikers and goes on about psychology of a pro footballer as to why they don't pass.

To sum it up, none of you are really in a position to preach to anybody about anything snidy or baseless are you?

Dongo is nothing to do with me.

I am entitled to my views on court cases and happen to want to see justice as I see it done. Nothing snidey in that, nor in jokingly calling for peaceful protests. I find the intolerance of any anti-CCFC sentiment (in terms of the off-field commercial stuff) disturbing; seems like some people will support the club in trampling over anyone provided its meant to be in our interests.

FP tried to imply my views don't count as apparently I'm a "Johnny come lately", whatever that means. Just because I can see that the club/SISU are transparently in the wrong, haven't got a leg to stand on, and am keen to communicate that to those who can't see it, doesn't mean my view is invalid.

I haven't said he is anything to do with you, I just pointed out that Snidey and Baseless would be a great double act name although I am not sure you could have missed the points I mentioned any more if you tried.

I find people like you more disturbing to be honest, going on about a protest aimed at somebody's kids. Needing 3 accounts to try and get a view across all to do with a council and a city you have nothing to do with in the slightest because you are keen to communicate and claiming to celebrate in your house about a court case that again is a bit remote to you simply because you have a strong passion for what's right or wrong is also a bit weird as well.

So you think it's weird that I have a view on the legals surrounding the football team I support? That would make most posters on here weird. I'm a CCFC fan when we run on the pitch, have been for over a decade. When CCFC/SISU try and screw over the people who've bent over backwards, I call that behaviour out and challenge anyone who supports it....call me weird if you want but frankly I think it's weird that you don't care who our owners try to screw over provided it's in the name of helping CCFC. You don't have much morality in your soul if you can ignore wrongs provided they benefit your football team.

I have just said what I find weird, try reading it back and replying to that rather than just "you have a view".

Most posters on here don't need 3 accounts because they are keen to communicate something and most wouldn't be claiming to celebrate in their house with bubbly over a court case because you just believe in right and wrong. If they were popping open the bubbly based on right and wrong they would be on the booze constantly.

So no, I can understand most people and where they are coming from whether I agree with them or not. Try replying to what I actually posted, not trying to give it the "because I have a view" line.

Don't give it the morality and right and wrong nonsense, you wanted to target Tim Fisher's kids at their school as a protest. Seems like you don't have much morality in your soul if you can ignore wrongs if they benefit a random charity and council you have no affinity to.
