i was just home visiting there xmas lol, i wouldnt say its the best country to be living in now tbh!
We were over in Dingle in the summer as my wife’s family are from Kerry. A lovely little town which has loads of pubs, everyone it seems with live Irish music, at least on a Saturday night. Every thing seems geared around the dolphin who has now reached a ripe old dolphin age. When Fungi goes I’m not sure what the town will do.( Being Irish, probably get a man in a dolphin suit to take his place and not tell anyone that the original one has bit the dust!)

That's the thing, I doubt half of them knew who SISU were but did it to take the piss out of the opposition fans.

It was as if they had been round to people's houses beating up city fans in their sleep the way people went on about it.
I’m struggling to see why you’re not bothered about sheff Utd singing SISU IN as if it means nothing , however seem to think any protests ie whistles, and singing SISU OUT does matter.......

Solidarity between fans of clubs is needed and Sheff Utd fans singled themselves out as arseholes that night.

End of the day, nothing us fans do will ever dislodge SISU, Ive gone past the angry stage, no point as they are going nowhere unless a very hefty bid coems in. No point getting wound up about things you can do fuck all about. We are shit, homeless and have the worse owners in the country. Sympathy or anger isn't going to change that.
Why do you think the club moved back from Northampton? Nothing to do with the fans hey......... bollocks

Sorry going to post again now it’s on my mind - another thing that pissed me off about Sheff Utd fans calling us out for protesting......... anyone remember the “battle of brammel Lane”...... warnock trying to get the game abandoned....... and they have the nerve to think their club is whiter than white.

Since everyone seems to be getting annoyed.

One thing that seriously annoys me is this "<insert club name> fan in peace"

"In peace"

Makes me cringe.

We love you in peace we do

We love you in peace we do

We love you in peace we do

Oh in peace we love you

My mums side are from near Dingle ( Ballyloughin), lovely place, but one of the most expensive to drink in lol. Oh and I think they are on about their 3rd Fungi, just to keep the tourists coming:emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing:

Can’t stand Sheff Utd, horrible club with horrible fans but that aside this game was no longer about the result it was about demonstrating the frustration and how angry the fans were about where the club was. For this game alone, it achieved national awareness of our situation so no we didn’t get SISU out but we got the attention to our plight. Where we failed was the continuation of this, most can’t be arsed to fight for the club anymore

Could be. He has been there for over thirty years which is over the average age for a dolphin in the wild apparently. Still comes out for the boats every day. There is even a statue of him in the town.

And that unfortunately is where it all falls down. Nobody, or certainly enough people would not/did not stick together. What’s the saying again-“United we stand-devided we fall”.

Not here to cause aggro...

Just wanted to seek your opinions on John Fleck...

Flecky (as he’s now affectionately known) has been an absolute gem for us, not sure how he was only 3rd choice for Cov...? Any insight on this?

He controls our midfield, puts stop to potentially dangerous attacks, comes up with the odd goal, passes very well and is genuinely one of the best United players I’ve had the pleasure to watch in many a year. He’s been a big factor in our ascendancy to the top half of the Champ.

Can’t believe you lads let him go.

The usual wind up material from a Sheffield Utd handjob. We’ve fallen to pieces and ended up in League 2 and yet you’re still taking the time to register on here to talk about Fleck. Do you daily tweet Leon Clarke asking for a signed shirt too? Nonce.

Of course football fans would be worried about their own team and their own result. If we went to a game and the opposition were trying to fuck the game up we would be pissed off as well.

They sang a song about we love you SISU, I have heard our fans sing that Bradford is just a town full of .... and she said yes Marlon. Not all of our fans granted.

In the end the protest backfired, so they took the piss even more about it. Again, which is what we would do as well.
Are you saying this for our benefit or the Blades fan's benefit , or just to sound like a reasonable, well balanced , football supporter ?
Ever football club has elements that sing or shout stuff that's not particularly clever . We're no different. To be honest you're sounding like someone who's just "a little bit better" than the rest of us .

What good came of it? Last I heard SISU are still in? I couldnt make the game but was hugely embarrassed watching on TV
Well I was proud to be a City fan that night.
Showed the world we finally grown some balls.
Don't give a shit about the goody goody fans who cried blue murder, same ones who start calling out players and pat each other on the back as they open their flasks and rearrange their blankets.

Unfortunatey that is the the way our owners have made us.
Doesn't help that our chairman is from Sheffield, Tim is a mighty Wednesday fan.

Would I take the time to sign up to a Sheffield United forum to post about how much I love Carlos Tevez? Would I fuck. Some of us have hit puberty and have grown out of that petty level of shithousing. Enjoy Fleck, wouldn’t want to be sour, like you lads were with over God Tevez.
