Well that was fucking magic today wasn't it? As Grimmer was winding up for his shot, I can't have been the only one preparing to moan at him for wasting a chance on a nothing shot.

You and me both. I thought he was in good position for cross then ran into trouble. How glad I am he did. Took me and buckland by surprise.

Is that true?

Have to confess I love the football Man City are playing. Like a breath of fresh air and playing football the right way.

I love that Foden of yours too. Maybe a sneaky chance of making the world cup squad this year?
My understanding is that it was indeed true as Ardwick they did originally wear white(PNE colours with dark blue shorts)and there is no official record of why they changed to blue
You know the funny thing was I was thinking the same thing that it would be a good outside bet he might make the WC squad, but he suffered ankle ligament damage that will keep him out for 3 months, so I would say it's a real long shot now.

Man City best team by country mile this season; playing the way every fan in the country wishes their team could play.
Would love us to play at you home or away in 4th round. The two sky blues putting on a football feast...ok today has gone to my head.

Right. Didn't know that.

A real star of the future there that lad.

Keep making Sterling a better player too. England need a Raheem Sterling at the top of his game in the summer.

Let's just basque in this relative glory...then on Monday hope we can transfer the performance to the L2 fixture list & get an automatic promotion. That would allow more time to consolidate L1 status or even move onto the now dizzy heights of the Championship!

Yeah, would be great to play them. We haven't suffered an 11-0 thrashing for years.

Basque in this glory? Are you a separatist?

Shit coverage on BBC. More interested in Stoke being poor and Hughes being sacked than us doing well.

To be fair they got Hughes out the way and then came back to us.
All said we deserved it.

Kind of but not entirely.
Hughes has had the look of Strachan about him this season and at least their board has seen sense.
That phase of pressure near the end was just like the Alamo.
Berahino is a fraud.

what happened to that kid? Had a great season and apparently a really good attitude. Suddenly turned into a prick with an inflated opinion of his own ability.

never, not a bloody clue why we have to pay that tax

Not really the place, but because like it or not the BBC is head and shoulders ahead of anything else for educational or informative content. It’s the closest thing to an unbiased source we have and that’s a rare thing these days. I’d pay it twice over rather than see it end up like ITV or Channel 5.

I thought the message was Coventry matched Stoke and deserved the win.

Yes and the headline was always about Stoke being beaten, in the same way the 87 cup winners got beaten by Sutton. They gave us credit but I wouldn't have expected any decent insight from Wright anyway, he's a thick twat stealing a living as a pundit.

I watch the apprentice and question time. that's it. for that I am forced to pay over £100 a year ! I don't watch anything at all on ITV or Channel 5.(and even if I did I wouldn't have to pay for it). If the BBC is that great, they would be confident enough that people would pay for it.

Ok. £2 for each episode of each show will cover it.

Its not just the TV though. I listen to the radio more than I watch TV, and the Radio,s 2, 5 and 6 are fantastic, and has to be paid for. Also, how many of us rely on the BBC website for information. Again, this stuff needs financing.

£100 a year for all that is a bargain compared with Sky subscriptions at more than twice that. Not forgetting all the broadcasting infrastructure that it pays for.

The Apprentice and Question Time - strange mix, that's like fancying Teresa May and Georgia May Foote !
