Hoping he will start with Barrett on the left, JMD on the right.

Can see this being a close game, if RCC plays he is bound to have a stormer.

Swindon have won 4 of their last 5 games and are the best team in the league away from home - their away form has been fantastic this year with a 75% win ratio on the road:

They score a lot of goals away from home too - averaging 2 goals per game away this year and have scored 2 goals or more in their last 6 away fixtures.
They also do not concede many. They've kept 5 clean sheets and average just 0.83 goals conceded away. They don't seem to be either a first or 2nd half team - their goals scored and conceded are spread very evenly across the 90 minutes

They've turned Keshi Anderson's loan into an undisclosed permanent signing from Palace as well as signing Marc Church from Northampton and Ollie Banks on loan from Oldham. With Marc Church and Luke Norris, they're likely to be pretty direct.
Think it's going to be a really tough game but we have bounced back from our last 3 defeats with wins and have won our last 3 at home, (4 with Stoke) so we have reasons to be positive too.

Those stats don't look good.

I am however going for a draw, but I think that will see us slide further down the table.

I am clinging onto the fact that a lot of their away games have been against the bottom teams while their home games have been against the top teams, which might be exaggerating their current stats. Although they did beat both Mansfield and Luton away.

we really need to win this one. After losing to Exeter it feels like we're in a pattern of giving up points to teams we've beaten earlier in the season. we need to start getting a few doubles on teams and promotion rivals like Swindon are a perfect team to start with.

I cannot see a win here at all, Swindon are the best away side in the league plus they always do well at the Ricoh.

Tho given all that and this is L2 we will probably win 3-0.... we'll it's a nice thought at least.

I'm quite confident for this fixture. 2-0 to us, I reckon.

Need to get back on track, also need to start scoring some goals atm there is only McNulty, Ponticelli don't seem ready with 1st team action, well not with our style of play, Biamou isn't cutting it so unless we give Barratt a try upfront its frustration as usual UNLESS again we bring in our saviour and hero for the season in the shape of a new striker that scores goals, rest of the team virtually picks itself

I think all the focus on Biamou not scoring has been hiding the fact that the midfield also don't contribute anything, we really need to start scoring goals from other areas.

Barrett tweeted he's looking forward to Saturday which suggests he's at least going to be on the bench.

Hmm tough one options to shake things up from last Sat - could kick Burge out for what he did but personally think MR will stick with him
I can see some changes though. With big Cyril think lads will be inspired and complete a 2-1 double over Swindon this year.

Team I hope we go with.

Burge GK
Grimmer RB
Stokes LB
MacDonald CB
Willis CB
Bayliss CM
Doyle CM
Maguire Drew RM
Barrett LM
McNulty ST
BIamou ST

Subs: O'Brien, Haynes, Davies, Kelly, Vincenti, Shipley, Beavon

I want to beat these - don't like Swindon itself (makes Cov look like classy), don't like their fans - a few chavs follow them, plus (more importantly) we need 3 points. A day for fire in the belly, all round.

Unless we sign another striker before the weekend, I think that team could be spot on.

Possiblity though of paying Barrett up front and keeping Shipley in, or playing Ponticelli.

And maybe it's a good thing that we all don't just think we will win and are a bit worried.

Fed up of being the overwhelming favourite in games and then getting our asses whooped.

If I don't get MKDons ticket I hope we get a win against Swindon, and our performance makes up on missing out on the Cup match ? Should be a good game and hopefully we get a decent crowd too.

Certainly a 'not lose.' A draw might be okay if other teams around us slip up, but we really need the win.

If we lose on Saturday we could sink a few places and the following week lose further ground to teams that have a league game while we are enjoying ourselves in the cup.

If it's not Mark 'Robbins' it's 'could of' & 'should of' etc...and now it's Cyril instead of the great mans name Cyrille....why can't people spell? Eurgh

Drop Biamou to bench and start Ponticelli, if that means changing tactics then just do it.
With Biamou in we probably draw or lose.
We need a win to maintain contact with the leaders.
