I didnt use that term. I said it is huge. It will be the biggest crowd of season watching vs a pronotion rival , we are coming off a loss going into a run of 5 othet fixtures vs rivals.

How is this not a huge match?
Get a grip man, our season is far from make or break on this fixture.

Gutted I’m going to miss this. Looks like it’ll be a great atmosphere. Let’s hope the team match it on the pitch.

Hopefully school kids learning the Sky Blue Song and adding some soft harmony......

Wouldn’t mind Sky Blue Sam being ravaged by some 6 year old hooligans though lol

It still annoys me that away teams don't do mascots any more, let them have a scrap.

I think this Saturday will be a huge success and maybe next year they should also allocate an away game too where they can hype it up etc.......mind you, tickets would once again be an issue lol

if every season ticket holder tells a couple of kids that they know where they live and they will kill them and their families if they don't start following city on a weekly basis we could really boost the crowds.

The club could then use the extra revenue to build a better squad and the pleasure of supporting a successful side would compensate for the anxiety and terror they would experience well into their early 20s.

Can it be their own kids? I've had to give threats like that before.

"Everybody at school supports Man Utd, Can I?"
"Daddy, do you want this aston villa book"
"So and so at school keeps laughing because I have a CCFC lunchbox" "Knock him out then, ermmm actually speak to your mum to see what she thinks"

I look forward to the long overdue return of the wallpaper pasting table selling hats, scarves, and all sorts of paraphernalia at the Jimmy Hill end of the ground.
Sorry guv, have you got the right money ?

If they wanted to appease ST holders, when they have these £5 game offers, they could always offer vouchers to ST holders say £5 off a team shirt or merchandise over £30.

Would then be a gesture and might make a few more sales to boot for merchandise.
Or they could issue ST holders with a £10 voucher to be presented on purchase Of
next seasons ST, so if they do three of these such events you are issued £30 In
vouchers to be used when buying your ST. Then they can put up the prices of STs
by £30 and the club loses nothing while looking good for the voucher offer, the club
Then makes more money by selling STs at the increased price to the hoards of
New customers who flock to the club because of the £5 community days
We all Win

Wonder how many of the free tickets given to schools will be used?

Kid "Dad I have got these 2 free tickets to watch City"
Dad "Yes but we support (Insert perm team) and it's cold and raining"

Bollocks I'm coming back to Cov for the Luton game the week after, typical! :banghead: cracking offer though, kudos to the club for running this one. Might try and tempt my old man with this one and get him to pay for my train ticket, go via Notts and pick him up on the way. I'll sweeten the deal by buying the footie tickets :angelic:

It worked! Got our tickets the other day, train all sorted, really looking forward to heading down for this. Notts County were getting lauded on the BBC tonight for how they got over 17k for their game v Crewe last weekend, be nice knowing we've absolutely smashed that whilst charging £3 more (even with a shitload of freebie's handed out...)
