Never mind all this, on to more important matters. Did anybody see, or for that matter, punch, Dale Evans?

Get some perspective. We have had a bad run or 3 defeats. Teams do that. We have got vital players out sick and some injured.
Our captain is missing.
We have one eye on a glory game to focus on at the week end.
Stokes has not looked good since he got back in the side. Haynes offers more going forward. Reid should have started.
After Saturday we should be able to pick our stronger side.
7th is a play off position. I'd back us over two legs with a big crowed up the Ricoh.
It's still very doable. What's the betting we get good results in our next 3?
Robin's needs to take risk when we are on the front foot and freshen it up.
Pontichelli needs a chance. We need to play it on the floor.
Now we will see what everyone including the manager is made of.
I'm rubbing my hands at the prospect.

Cliche, but being a Coventry fan has to be the absolute worst.

It doesn’t help that I’m slowly starting to lose the faith I had in Robins somewhat. His continuous lack of strategy or tactics is infuriating.

He is literally the type of player we need.

Maybe the type of player we need but not the player we need. Like I say, mediocre last time and about 4 years older, not match fit and carrying a knock.

It would take him the 14 games to get him up to speed....

Didn’t manage to get that second goal. Cup game Saturday. Need to be picking points up in next 3 league games. Got a situation where we’ve lost the last 3 games. Can’t rest on our Laurels

I see his powers of observation are undiminished by this defeat.

I think its time for him to realise we can't play for draws every week and he needs to have a bit of bollocks about him and try to kill games off.

He's had plenty of chance this season. Even when we've been winning games the tactics to me have never felt right. We only have one tactic and when it doesn't work we have nowhere to go.

I have a gut feeling he’ll resign especially if we get a trouncing at Brighton. Just don’t think the players are with him and his tactics

Why do you use up the extra time minutes by doing a substitution? for fuck sake as soon as they scored he should have bought Reid on before the kick off. Or am I being stupid thinking this?

Is there another club in England who no matter what league they’re in still can’t mount and maintain a promotion push?

How low do we have to fall before we actually finish near the top of a league?

Can someone please quote 8th best budget?

We’ve just paid £125k to loan a striker. How many other league two teams can do that?

That was hard to take. First half was abysmal. Second half gradually picked up. Once we equalised only looked like one winner then shit defending by stokes and we leave with fuck all.

2 points

Robins stubborn with subs and never pro active. Why bring Reid on the 90th min?

Kelly is shocking. We sell Stevenson who bosses midfield and keep Kelly who is woeful. Never looks forward and gives the ball away all the time. Robins has his favourites and he’s one of them

Now for a 2 and half hour journey. Depressing being a city fan. And shout out to Raff’s coach who never made the game due to traffic. I wish we were stuck too.

A down turn in results due to injury and illness always happens at some point in the season but this is why we needed to build up a cushion earlier in the season while players were still fit and the pitches good. Instead we were trying to nick 1-0s at teams we could have been thumping - dropping points by being negative and only trying to win games in the 2nd half. 3 first half away goals in 16 games - that kind of cautiousness is asking for trouble. Anyone still chuffed to have the best defence in the league?

First half hard to take

Took us til half time to get into the game

Away form isn’t great

Weathered their fast start

Give them a pen for a tug on the arm

Go in 1-0 down

Few Home truths spoken

Second half I was pleased

We’re at that stage of the season we need to see games out

Need to defend properly

Allowed them to get first contact. Weak mentally

Disappointed with the second goal

We’ve got injuries and players out but that’s not an excuse

We have players making ridiculous mistakes

Players need to play through the middle

Players know how we want to play

Didn’t stick the knife in and allowed them to win the game, but they didn’t deserve to

By Ht they deserved to be a goal in front

Pleased for Bayliss whose had a tough day today and Saturday

Didn’t manage to get that second goal

Kick up the back side was needed at HT

It’s that choice; are they going to go out and give it a go; give it all for the shirt

Cup game Saturday

Need to be picking points up in next 3 league games

Got a situation where we’ve lost the last 3 games

Got 14 games to see where we are

Can’t rest on our Laurels
The "can't rest on our laurels" comment is interesting from a manager who waits until the 90th minute to make an attacking substitution.

I know it happens because Notts County just drew 1 anf lost 3 on the trot because of the injuries they sustained and as you see they are getting their players back now and won tonight. I think MR needs to play JCH from the off as I saw him cause the back line some issues when he came on

Just get shut now no chance of play offs the man has not got a clue give farndon ago he knows most of the youngsters and can probably manage them better than this idiot for sombody who is supposed to be a good manager hes f-----g useless talks a load of shite blames the players but lets get it right its the players and postions he plays them in his tactics r sunday pub leaugue

Season over. No chance if autos and we’d bottle playoffs. Same story every season. Why can’t we win after Christmas. Why can’t the manager see the most basic things.
Been exactly my argument all season. Do any of us honestly believe if we got to the playoffs we would win through?

More than likely be the Accrington scenario all over again. I have absolutely no faith that we would rise to the occasion. We are out-muscled and out-thought too often and it was exactly the same in League One.

I think it is fair to say that Mark Robins' honeymoon as Coventry City manager (which honeymoon extended over 2 spells at the club) can now be said to have ended.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, someone actually texts into the radio asking for us to get Slade back.

I'm actually crying with laughter.
Someone also phoned in to say we overpass it all the time.

Wonder when the last time it was that he went to a game? If anything we are lumping it up far too early.

It's hardly "season over" though is it. 3 points from play-offs, 14 regular season games to go. Even if we get play-offs but don't go up, that's not "season over". Promotion isn't the "be all and end all" this time

Next season the core 7,000 fans at home games will be down to 5,000 if we fail to get promotion. It’s extremely worrying, it’s okay losing the floaters but once you start losing the hardcore support the football clubs in serious trouble
