Burge - 9. Thought he was magnificent tonight. Really commanding and a combination of some great saves and punches clear.

Grimmer - 7.5. Could have perhaps done better for their goal, but grew into the game as it wore on and finished very strongly.

Hyam - 8.5. Hardly put a foot wrong

Willis - 8.5 Knew we would be okay with him stepping in for Davies. Set up the first goal too.

Stokes - 8.5. His best game for us this season I would say. Very solid and supported the attack well too.

Kelly - 8.5. All over the park and was winning balls, getting stuck in and helping support the attack.

Bayliss - 7.5. A bit quieter than the first leg, but great goal from him and he kept the County players busy all night.

Doyle - 9. Really impressed with him tonight and played a real captain's role.

Shipley - 8. Thought he was excellent in that first half. Faded slightly in the second.

McNumpty - 9. His movement was outstanding tonight and he could easily added to his tally.

Biamou - 9.5. Only because I don't think anyone ever deserves a 10. He was truly excellent though. Great stuff.

JCH - 7
Ponticelli - 7.5

Robins - 10 (it's only players who aren't allowed 10's.)

Burge-9: pulled off a worldie save at 2-1 and commanded his area better than I knew he was capable of when we were really under the cosh. Chose when to punch and did it well.
Grimmer-7: much more solid defensively, a couple of times he row z'd it which pleased me as it looks like he might have learnt from that puddle tackle!
Willis-8: Very solid, very quick and stepped back into the side seamlessly. Did well with flick on for Max's first goal and one particularly good bit of defending first half when their man was almost through.
Hyam-9: His best game for the club, brilliant. Reads the game very well and can pass, too, as shown by the ball for Bayliss' goal which was inch-perfect. One of our biggest bonuses this season.
Stokes-8: Much more like the old Stokes, which ironically was the younger Stokes...loved the barnstorming Roberto Carlos run 1st half and was hard as nails defensively as well as a cool head when we were under pressure.
Doyle-7: Gritty, tough, leader. Quieter than usual as Bayliss and Kelly were dictating play more, which is a wise idea...
Kelly-8: Tireless effort closing down and doing the dirty work and played some good passes too to show he is more than just a defensive midfielder. Brilliant work for the McNulty goal, intelligent lung-bursting run outside Bayliss and perfect ball back across.
Bayliss-9: beautiful silky ball carrying, sumptuous ball to Kelly for the McNulty goal, just knew he was gonna score when he started that slaloming run for his goal. Absolute class. Pray we can hold onto him but it's hard to see on this form.
Shipley-7: Worked extremely hard but looked a little shaken by the big game, especially when played through by Bayliss for his first half chance that he seemed to work onto his weaker foot...but still had a solid game for his defensive graft and closing down.
McNulty-9: Class act, always a threat, brilliant goal and looking like a top, top striker at this level. John Coleman said on Sky that "someone" he had been chatting to had said "he can play in The Championship if he can get a bit fitter, no problem" and that's good enough for me!
Biamou-10: Magnifique! Two amazing goals, led the line, got battered, held it up, passed well, never stopped working. A cult hero in the making who is really growing as a player now. If ever I saw a 10/10, that was Max tonight. And I am a little amazed as he still manages to look a bit crap as a footballer, he's almost brilliant despite himself-and that's cool!

Burge - 10: For that save alone, but did everything asked of him and had no chance with the goal.

Grimmer - 8: Got forward well a couple of times and was fouled for their goal IMO.

Hyam - 9: Solid and dependable throughout.

Willis - 9: Set up a goal, barely gave County a sniff all night.

Stokes - 9: did both ends of his job well.

Bayliss - 8.5: quiet but showed his class and got a goal.

Doyle - 9.5: just the man you want on your team when it gets a bit tasty. Excellent captains performance and did well not to rise to Countys provocations.

Kelly - 9: Solid, got forward well and got an excellent assist.

Shipley - 8.5: started slowly but really played well first half, should’ve had a goal.

McNulty - 9.5: A class above this league. Two classes when it comes to his movement. Pure quality.

Biamou - 10: stunning first goal, good second, excellent work at both ends of the pitch. He just seems to pop up everywhere. Took a beating too. MOTM

Willis-8: ...Did well with flick on for Max's first goal...

The irony that the player who was brought in because of the Notts County protest of Davies’ challenge, is the man who played a massive part in getting the ball rolling tonight.

It’s a rhetorical question, but would that flick on have happened had Davies been playing instead...?

We are so blessed with quality CB's, the irony being that the one who was the best at the start of the season is the one totally off the boil now. For most squads in this division that would be a hammer blow, but Hyam has looked assured aside from one game and has been immense in the play offs, Davies is a beast whom the best is yet to come from, and Willis can be a class act.

For impact over the 2 legs Kelly wins by an absolute mile for me. Another player who has got dogs abuse from ignorant idiots but producing the goods at a key time.
Not sure tonight's the night for calling people ignorant idiots.

I haven't stopped smiling since that 4th goal went in.

Wills, once again in a big game, showed why he was wanted by so many clubs not long ago. Total athlete.

Individuals have been slagging off certain players all season. You don't get to pick and choose the moments you wish to celebrate. I haven't stopped smiling since the first goal went in.

You don't pick and choose. They are foisted upon you and when they come you should embrace them.

I was saying earlier in the season that he had lost all his pace. Well that certainly wasn't true tonight.

He had a great game.

I don’t think he is back to where he was before the injury but tonight what he (and the rest of the team) showed was commitment to the cause. I bet every muscle in his legs will be screaming tomorrow. He gave his all

It’s like getting an extra, experienced player and a nice irony given how injuries have cost us this year..

Amazing Camara pre game shot of Willis,
One minute literally of Hands over his face.

I presume nerves being a local lad. I was the same , could barely breath watching on TV.

Well done Jorden!!!!!

Kelly is very underrated. Said it before, was made the scapegoat when he returned from injury and things weren't going well

Just in, absolutely buzzin!
10 out of 10 for Robins tonight, got it spot on. Tactics were perfect and schooled Nolan.
Next stop , (for you lot). Wembley! I'll be on the other side of the world, hope you all have a great day!!
