For those playing - or planning on playing the Journey mode - there may be slight storyline spoilers here. I wasn't planning on buying FIFA this year but if all these Cov extras are in the main game as well as the journey mode, I'd be more tempted! Full article here: FIFA 19's The Journey begins with an awesome throwback to 60s football and some legendary commentary

In short, you play as Alex Hunter's grandfather for the team of your choice - they chose Chelsea in the article and Wolves in the video below - and they take on Coventry City in the late 60s. Really like the boggy pitch and retro look, also John Motson on commentary! Do you think they worked on getting a Highfield Road looking stadium too? Quite hard to tell.

Anyway, thought this was quite cool and people might be interested. Full video of that section here too:

It was mentioned in the last game wasn’t it. Didn’t he score the winning goal against us?

Ah possibly! I actually gave FIFA a miss last year so missed that chapter of Journey mode. Kind of want to play it just for that but it's not worth the 60 quid! Might look into 19 but after a couple of years without a football game, I'm a bit more tempted by PES I think.

My son has been playing it all evening, we pre ordered so he got early access. He showed me the Cov bit.

Not sure it was worth £80 mind. He loves it though, which I suppose is all that matters.

Mine cost 46!

He wanted some special edition or other from the PS Store. To be fair he didn't insist on the £90 version. The other thing is that he could play it from yesterday too rather than Friday. No physical disc but I'm not bothered as he tends to scratch them anyway.
