Agree Nick i think Bayliss has been very poor

He’s looked like he’s playing within himself recently, however, when he gets the ball and drives forward he still looks like the most dangerous player in the team. But he hasn’t been searching for the ball enough for me, he’s got to be told and believe he can influence every game. Young lad with bags of ability so probably just needs a rest or maybe he’s been told to not drift out of position so is staying in a set area.

Fair play to Robins and Baka today. Yes robins has appeared to be giving Baka some shit recently but maybe he’s seen the ability in him and is frustrated with how he’s applying himself. He certainly did today though !

That was as tough a run of 3 games as we'll likely get in this division. We all but matched Sunderland, and looked worth a win there. With Portsmouth unbraten at the time we played them, it was a tough ask. Maybe could have nicked a draw. And now we've beaten Charlton. It goes without saying that we could have come out of these three games a lot worse than we have. I think we'd all have taken 4 points from these 3 games wouldn't we?

If we could cut out these silly mistakes, take more of the chances we make and therefore put less pressure on ourselves, I don't think we'd be too far away from being a handy side.

Why? I don’t mind being proved wrong if it results in a win. I’ve never actually been that critical of him - certainly compared to many on here who stated him before he kicked a ball.

To be fair to Grendel I think he tried to defend Bakayoko by mistakenly thinking I had slated him as recently at last week

Surely there's an argument to say Bakayoko and Hiwula deserve a chance to start up front together next game?

They both need to be played up front and have shown more today than we've generally been getting from the others.

That’s never going to happen the only way the three of them play together is with hiwula on the wing

And the lad shouldn't be on the wing. Our strikers have been struggling so to not give him a run up front in his actual position would be silly.

I think Chaplin has had his chance for now to be honest. If it was anyone else then there wouldn't be a question.

That was 2 games ago though?
Correct. I think that performance was immense and shouldn't be dismissed only 7 days later. He wasn't that bad against Portsmouth. It could be argued he came out of today's game with more credit than Chaplin

Don't be so quick to write Chaplin off. Just what happened last season.

New club new start. Has forced a few saves. One kicked off the line. More unlucky than anything. Give him a run and the goals will come. It isn't as though he isn't trying or not getting good chances.

And as I said when he first came I want to see him play with Baka. They could be our ticket to the Championship. Baka has proven lots wrong today. And Chaplin has it in him to do the same.

Chaplin needs to start. He's a livewire.
Should have scored admittedly but I think he'll come good. Got an assist.

Well I was utterly depressed at half time , and robins finally managed to change a game with very well timed subs, absolutely delighted for bakayoko fantastic finishes
