Listened to it on my way home from work.

I was hoping he would go and two foot the woman who kept talking loudly in the background.

Did he get more irish the more it went on as well? Was interesting to hear about going to America for a trial and things like that!

Is there anything you can get to plug in to your camera to use as a mic?

Refreshing to hear the player's voice more than the interviewer - local rags/radio stations take note!
Top job, keep it up (maybe lose some background noise if you can)

Brilliant stuff. Interview after interview we get to know the players far better than we’ve ever known them before. So often players are cagey but Ol has the knack of getting them to open up and it’s as if they are having a chat in the pub with a mate. Yes the background noise can be a bit distracting but I think it adds to the informal nature of the conversation. Many a professional interviewer or journalist could learn a thing or two about letting the player’s voice be heard.

Great job!

Interesting to hear just how much a team takes from having good support.

Kudos to the players you've interviewed as well, for being content to chat at length - credit to you for making them feel comfortable in doing so.

If you need to buy a better mike just let us know on here and I am sure we will chip in to get you what you need.

(Edit, up to about a tenner)

How much is a Mike these days. Can't get one of those expensive ones like Mike Tyson or Mike Myers.

On a serious note, what do you use for filming? Have a look to see if there are any microphones you can plugin and run.

I'd also be happy to chip in to help get you towards a setup :)

You don’t need to plug it in. You just clap in front of the camera with the recording device running and use that to sync up the tracks in editing. That’s what clapper boards are for

Said this a while ago but best budget solution is to stick a phone headset on them (even if just taped to a lapel) and stick the mobile in their pocket. As it’s always one person a boom mike or whatever would be overkill.

Its a good point he makes about the away following, we take more away from home now than we've ever done even in the Premier League days.

Doyler came across as very self-deprecating, acknowledging that he was out of his depth at Celtic, and being pretty modest about his fitness. But his value was shown yesterday once again. Probably not his best performance granted, pretty hard work I imagine at his age in midfield against such an organised pressing opposition. And yet three minutes from time he popped up in the box. It’s only a tap-in if you’re there! Earned us a point, denied them two, and kept momentum going.

They may not be the most accurate or the greatest but I think he made more passes in L1 now than any other player by miles, although I think that's why opposition will work us out soon, others need to take that role at times in the game.
