If the point is all out academy are shite then he needs to have a word with the bloke with total control of the football club for the last seven years.

Yeah I can see that, but equally why not have him and drop Wilson, you’re essentially saying you aren’t ever getting on.

Because you wouldn't want to put a academy keeper in

Just like some of the outfield players may have no chance of coming on either in reality but still on bench same way bell is

The academy was and probably still is good enough to bring through players who could perform in L1 and L2. The problem is to start generating players capable of breaking through as Eccles has done to Championship level will probably require another multi million pound investment.

As much as I like an underdog to get promoted, the only reason I’d want to Leeds to stay down is an away at Elland Road.

Next season, I’d rather be competing against Ipswich than Leeds. So for that reason I hope we spoil the promotion party!

Hardly anyone wanted a week team did they? I know I didn't. I just trusted the manager and if certain players were missing tonight, I would have accepted that they weren't available to play.

They have obviously been patched up, had painkilling injections or whatever, in order to get out on the pitch.

Whether they will last and how quickly they will tire, we are soon to find out

A win tonight would be fabulous for team spirit and would give the fans a much needed lift

I hope we can go a couple of goals clear and can make changes from a winning position if required.

Strong team, pick up an injury or two due to fatigue, get beat anyway.

Okay, here's my conspiracy theory for the evening.

We are playing a load of players who are injured and weren't going to be picked for the game, but late in the day, Leeds picked up the phone and offered us a couple of their players.for free if we won the game tonight.

So they are all in.
